"Sweet Life" Log Cabin Creekside, Trout Fishing, Foosball, Hot Tub and Firepit

Welcome to the quiet side of the Smokies. This beautiful log cabin is located on Cosby Creek just minutes from Gatlinburg, Dollywood and Pigeon Forge.


Come set a spell in the HOT TUB and let the sounds of the creek sooth your inner self. Or go trout fishing in the crisp cool mountain water just down the steps from the cabin. Don't forget the inner tubes so the kids can go tubing down the creek.
When it is sunset it's time to get the fire pit going and the marsh mellows on a stick.

We are a pet friendly cabin, there is a $89.00 fee per pet per stay plus tax. DOGS only NO CATS!
Maximum of 4 dogs.

What a beautiful, peaceful setting and a very lovely log home. The hot tub was clean and the bed was comfortable. Sitting on that deck and listening to the creek was so relaxing! We would love to come back.

Our stay went really well. Our 2 fur babies loved the yard to run in and the creek. It was so nice sitting in the hot tub while looking over at the creek. Extremely peaceful.We were lucky enough to watch a bear come into the front yard one morning. Only suggestion would be to replace the pans. There’s no griddle in the home and we used frying pans for breakfast but they are in bad condition and food got stuck or burnt. Other than that the home met our needs. If you are looking for a place close enough to visit the tourist traps but away from it all this is it.

It was a wonderful stay for our family! Absolutely beautiful scenery, Cosby Creek right in the backyard, secluded enough for our dog Moon to run around and the back porch was fenced in so our dog could lay outside and enjoy the scenery herself. Was beautiful

This cabin is remote which is nice, must drive through the grass to parking area, back yard is completely lined with nice sized creek but facing other cabins across creek. With that being said it’s very quiet and nice area. The front door was a bit “sticky” and needed to wiggle the key, but that was our only issue so win win :) Beds were comfy and cabin floor plan was nice. There were a couple broken chairs they’ll at should just be removed, but still had 4 for the table. Nice place, we are at Janice’s local restaurant which was awesome and like 5 minutes from cabin. Took us about 20-30 minutes to get to Gatlinburg, so a bit of a haul, but nice to avoid people and traffic sounds from being in town. We heard lots of coyotes one night very close so you are pretty rural- which was our goal.

We’re glad you enjoyed your stay—the mountains really do have a lot to offer. Since this is a true log cabin, it can be affected by the weather. During warmer or rainy periods, the door may swell a bit, but a slight pull toward you will take care of it. As for the chairs, they weren’t broken—just a loose dowel.

Cabin and location are excellent. My wife and I slept in the room on the right, bed wasn't very comfortable. It rolled to the middle, the other couple we traveled with said the same of the other bed and said it was a taco bed. We all wished the bedrooms had curtains, the light that starting pouring in at the crack of dawn was unsettling and made for some early mornings. Made the best of it though and just went and sat out on the back porch and enjoyed listening to the river and the birds. Guest should be made aware that they are responsible for removing all trash and that no cans are provided. There are a couple of places to take the trash and both are a couple of miles away in opposite directions. I went to the 1st one and didn't see any place that looked like a place to drop off refuse so had to go to the other and it was more of what you would expect with a big dumpster with a compactor. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again, just need something to block out the sunlight.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the cabin and its location. Unfortunately, there is no mattress that is perfect for everyone, as comfort preferences vary from guest to guest. Regarding the bedrooms, the blinds generally do an excellent job of blocking light when they are properly adjusted. As for trash disposal, the county does not provide curbside trash pickup in this area. For safety reasons, trash cannot be left outside, as it will attract wildlife such as bears, coyotes, raccoons, opossums, and wild hogs to the cabin. To assist our guests, we provide a map in the cabin showing the locations of the county convenience centers. Disposal is typically very quick and easy—simply pull in, place your trash in the compactor, and continue on your way. If you ever have trouble locating a convenience center or have any other concerns during your stay, please give us a call. We are always happy to help. As we tell all our guests, the best time to address any issue is while you are staying with us so we have the opportunity to assist and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Sweet Life cabin

The cabin was beautiful as was the river. The only issue was finding our cabin was not the easiest since the driveway is small and blocks that cabin being behind another. The drive to Gatlinburg was easy and scenic but the drive to Pigeon Forge was pretty far. Overall, very peaceful area.

The place is quiet and peaceful, nice spot next to a creek. There's a few minor details in the house that can improve: the door to the back porch gets stuck every time and the pots and pans in the kitchen can use a replacement, other than that I will definitely go back. Awesome spot.
