One of the bed room windows has an old metal Venetian blind which doesn’t drop down to cover the entire window, so didn’t block out the blinding sun. Consequently, we were awake at sunrise every day. A blackout blind would be cheap and easy to install.
Also, garden is very unkempt, so we did not feel inclined to sit outside which we would have liked to have done. Bathroom could do with a revamp.
What a waste of money. We were very disappointed in the property. The kitchen cupboard under the sink was dirty and full of half used cans of fly spray and nearly empty hand soap bottles. The first plate I pulled out was dirty and chipped. The bathroom had a broken blind, wobbly toilet seat but worst of all there was water pulsing out of the bottom of the bath panel when you had a shower which explained the mould/ damp areas on the bath panelling. The bedroom carpets were threadbare, the beds uncomfortable with badly fitting linens and when you rolled over in the bed it sounded as if they were about to fall apart. So upset that we left a day early to check into a hotel to finish our time away on a happier note.
