About this property
Airy seaside apartment overlooking beach - ideal for exploring West Cornwall
Recently renovated and new on the market, a beautiful, two-bedroom seaside apartment overlooking Portreath Bay. Stunning views from nearly every window - a perfect getaway location.
You'll never be short of things to do in West Cornwall..
Start the day with a coffee on your private, secluded terrace overlooking the bay.
After breakfast, go swimming, surfing or body boarding. Hike the South West Coastal path which passes by the apartment. Take the coast to coast cycle route. Or just have a relaxing day on the beach.
Explore some West Cornwall highlights further afield: Truro, Falmouth, Penzance, St Ives; Porthcurno, The Minack Theatre, Cape Cornwall and Tin Mines. And more picturesque villages, coves, beaches and hikes that will keep you coming back.
End the day with a meal at a local pub or restaurant, then back for a nightcap on the terrace, before falling asleep to the sound of Atlantic waves.
One off-road parking space and access to table tennis and darts.
NB. Nineteen external steps to access the property so NOT suitable for anyone with mobility problems - Sorry.

About the host
Hosted by Paul Mullin

My wife and I retired to Portreath after 33 years working and raising our children in London. We live all year round in Battery House, on the other side of the drive from the Gatehouse Apartment, so we are usually available to help guests with any questions they might have.
Why they chose this property
The sea views and coastal walks are breath taking and the family / surfing beach is always a buzz. There are wonderful restaurants around and about, and nearby towns like Truro, Falmouth, Penzance and St Ives are always worth a visit.
What makes this property unique
The location is unrivalled. Perched on the cliff, high above the beach, the views are stunning all year around. In summer, you can watch the activity on the beach from your chair, or join in the fun with a 2 minute walk down Battery Hill. In winter, the storms can be dramatic. Watch the waves breaking over Gull Rock while you have breakfast.
