Rooms were clean, bathroom and spare toilet were all spotless, towels were good quality. Beds were all small and the communal space and kitchen were very dingy and the fridge needs a good clean (I really think this should be part of the 100 cleaning fee.) Blinds were broken and some wallpaper coming off the wall, curtains don’t block out much light. The whole place needs a lot more love and could demand a much higher price with just a little investment. It was well located, close to the centre of town, the river, the castle and the new brewery / distillery development. It was the cheapest accommodation available in a pretty expensive town making it good value.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your recent stay with us. We are pleased to hear that you found the bedrooms clean, the bathroom and additional toilet spotless, and the towels to be of good quality. We are also glad that you appreciated the convenient location, with easy access to the town centre, river, castle and nearby attractions, and that you felt the accommodation offered good value for the area. We are sorry, however, that some aspects of the property did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the communal areas, kitchen, fridge cleanliness, blinds, curtains, wallpaper and the overall condition of the property. Cleanliness is particularly important to us, and your comments regarding the fridge will be reviewed with our housekeeping team. We will also pass the maintenance and presentation points raised to the relevant team so they can be assessed and addressed where necessary. We take all guest feedback seriously, as it helps us identify where improvements can be made. We appreciate you highlighting both the positive aspects of your stay and the areas where you feel further attention and investment would improve the property.
