Within 400 metres of your doorstep, the beach is one of six along this unspoilt stretch of coast; behind the village, the Quiet Lanes are designated places for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders – try the long-distance Weavers’ Way or a National Cycle Route if you want to explore further afield. Visit Horsey Gap, 3 miles along the coast, to see the resident seal colony, or for more wildlife encounters head to The Broads National Park – Hickling Broad is 4.5 miles.
