Villa 8, Estura in Salcombe, Devon, sleeps eight people in four bedrooms
Villa 8, Estura is a luxury three-storey town house in one of the region’s most beautiful and exclusive waterside settings, just a five-minute walk from Salcombe’s pretty waterfront and within easy reach of the town’s beaches. The property accommodates up to eight people in four beautifully appointed bedrooms, two of which are en suite – there is also a family bathroom. The property has a hand-crafted kitchen with Miele integrated appliances and a boiling hot water tap, a light and bright living and dining area with fabulous sea views, plus parking for one car. Outside, there is a balcony with incredible stunning panoramic views across the estuary. This truly is the perfect accommodation for couples, two families holidaying together or for a special celebratory extended family break. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of 500GBP

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. You can also take the small ferry across the estuary to the beaches of East Portlemouth, and a walk to Gara Rock. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including sailing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
