Unplug in a clear stargazing dome at Hartridge Springs in Devon’s Blackdown Hills. Designed for couples or solo travellers, this off-grid Unidome sits on its own purposely separated pitch for privacy, with valley views, a fire pit, and space to sit outside in the open meadow. Inside, you’ll find a cosy sleeping pod with a double bed and bedding, a small dining area with tableware for two, and solar-powered lighting to keep light pollution low (with heating for cooler nights).

This is a nature-led break with big skies and simple comforts, ideal for slowing down and spending your evenings around the fire or watching the stars from the comfort of the dome. You’ll also have optional paid access to the communal wood-fired sauna and a free-of-charge modern shared wash block with hydrotherapy showers. A welcoming pub is around 200m away, and the Jurassic Coast is within easy reach by car for day trips.

Spend time outside by your private fire pit, then warm up in the wood-fired sauna, and settle back into the dome to watch the stars.

With your dome set in meadowland, the atmosphere is calm and rural—well suited to guests looking for a quieter break and darker nights for stargazing. For food and a local welcome, there’s a pub around 200m away. If you’re planning a longer stay, the Jurassic Coast is within easy reach by car for memorable day trips.

Extra Charges
- Wood‑fired hot tub (paid add‑on): £100 per stay. Heated before arrival and includes two bundles of logs. Please note, if you’re staying additional nights, the hot tub will cool down overnight and will need reheating. Extra bundles of logs can be purchased on site for £20 each, or you’re welcome to bring your own. We recommend two bundles to bring the hot tub up to full temperature, plus two bundles per night to keep it running.
- Wood‑fired sauna (paid add‑on): £40 per night for 2 hours, or £60 for the whole night. Includes one complimentary bag of wood for the first night; additional bags available at £20 each.
- Extra bundles of logs: £20 per bundle. Complimentary wood is provided for the fire pit, sauna, and hot tub (if booked).
- Pets: £20 per pet (maximum of 2 pets).

Optional Extras
When you place your booking, please let us know as soon as possible if you’d like to add a hot tub or sauna. The first night includes one round of logs. For stays longer than one night, additional logs for hot tub use are charged at £20 per day.

Booking policy
Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file.
If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled.
Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.
A £50 security deposit is required via a secure third‑party platform 2 days before arrival.
The deposit will be refunded within 3 days after checkout.
Upsells such as early check‑in, late check‑out, and add‑on packages are available to enhance your stay. Please note that all upsells are non‑refundable once booked.

Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival.
Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival.
No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.

We will do our best to contact you by 10 p.m. each evening. If any issues come up earlier, please let us know immediately, as we would appreciate the opportunity to address them and put things right. After confirming your stay is going well, we will follow up the next morning before you leave. Once your stay has been completed and we have not been made aware of any concerns, we will understand that everything was satisfactory, and no refund or further liability will apply.

We do not tolerate rude or abusive behaviour. Anyone who behaves rudely or disrespectfully towards our staff will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.
