Welcome to The Big Pink House ,a spacious and characterful self-catering home perfect for large groups, family gatherings, or celebrations. Set near the village of Mealsgate, just north of Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick, it’s a great base for exploring the northern Lake District while relaxing in style.
Inside, you’ll find 9 ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to 22 guests. 7 rooms are in the main house and two in the adjoining Cottage Annexe, both with walk-in showers and easy access. Beds can be arranged as super kings or twins, offering flexibility for families or friends.
The large dining room and private bar area make mealtimes special – perfect for dinner parties, cocktail nights, or celebrations. Cook with ease in the two fully equipped kitchens, complete with ovens, hobs, 3 dishwashers, and ample prep space.
There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained:
Games rooms with pool, air hockey, darts, and soft play for little ones
Spacious lounge with Smart TV
Outdoor hot tub, BBQ, and pizza oven
Children’s play area, lawn, and countryside views
The utility room includes laundry facilities, and parking is ample with an EV charging point. Towels and bed linen are provided (please bring extra towels for outdoor use).
