Welcome to our home - a beautiful countryside escape in the heart of nature!
Escape to the country in our beautiful home where contemporary luxury meets the tranquility of nature. Set within two acres of wildflower meadow, paddocks and orchard, our home offers a peaceful but modern sanctuary just moments from the South Downs National Park.
Designed to celebrate light, space and the natural surroundings, we converted our beautiful farm barn and extended it with wall to ceiling glass walls to blend open plan living with a seamless indoor / outdoor flow.
Whether you are having a family gathering, entertaining friends or wanting a quiet weekend away, our farm provides the perfect setting.
We have four spacious and beautifully designed bedrooms, vast living areas including; a music room (please feel free to play our instruments), a gym, a large bespoke kitchen dining area and a beautiful living area and even a dog room as no countryside walk (of which there are plenty) would be complete without your dog!
The highlights of our house include;
- 4 bedrooms (the master - with a huge emperor sized bed & sofa bed), 2 king rooms and 1 twin room with 2 double beds.
- Spacious & specially designed open plan living & dining area.
- A fully equipped gourmet kitchen.
- Indoor - outdoor living with a very large courtyard, perfect for entertaining and stunning countryside views.
- Dedicated work space with high speed wifi.
- Gym with treadmill, adjustable dumbbells up to 15kg each.
- EV charger (an additional charge of £10 per charge - please request to use)
- Ample private parking
Sustainable luxury
Our home was designed to blend luxury with thoughtful sustainability. Features include zoned underfloor heating powered by an air-sourced heat pump, an off-grid solar panel system and an EV charging point in the open oak 2 bay garage.
We are pet friendly!
We love well behaved dogs and welcome them into our home. We ask that dogs are not allowed into the bedrooms and be kept off the furniture.
About the area
Our farm is tucked away in a very rural lane at the foot of the South Downs, We are located very near the charming village of Plumpton and surrounded by open countryside, vineyards, scenic walks and renowned country pubs!
Although the birth place of the Queen, Plumpton is best known for its iconic racecourse. If you are lucky enough to be staying with us during a race meet - we definitely recommend this as a day out!
As well as being famous for its stunning countryside and downland walks, Sussex wines are hugely popular and absolutely delicious. The award winning Ridgeview wine estate is very close by and hosts both wine tasting and a beautiful restaurant. Both are highly recommended - as is the Ridgeview Fitzrovia Rose! Artellium Wine Estate is the newest of our vineyards and its outside restaurant and glorious countryside views are a wonderful way to enjoy a summers evening with a bottle of wine!
One of our favourite local pubs, The Jolly Sportsman, is just a 20 min stroll away and serves award winning local food every day (apart from Tuesdays in the Winter) and even serves breakfast at the weekend. Booking is recommended - especially for Sunday roast!
For walkers & cyclists, the surrounding hills & countryside provide endless opportunities to walk, explore and loose oneself in the beauty of the Sussex countryside. With the Downs at the bottom of the road providing a fantastic 'to the top' challenge and an opportunity to see Sussex at its best!
Whilst we may be in the heart of the countryside, we are only a 30 min drive from Brighton, an eclectic metropolis of shopping, theatres, cinemas, restaurants and nightlife and less than an hours train journey to London and 30 min drive from Gatwick Airport.
And for those days and evenings when you really don't want to leave the luxury of the house, we can bring the outside to you! With a roster of experienced private chefs, caterers, in house massage therapists and yoga / Pilates instructors you really don't ever need to leave the farm to enjoy a wonderful stay!
