The bedrooms consist of a double and a king-size and ground-floor double serviced by a ground-floor bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a lawn and picnic bench and off-road parking. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Within 3.6 miles you will find a shop and within 0.5 miles a pub. Enjoy a refreshing break with your loved ones at Barleycorn Cottage. Note: There is a good housekeeping bond of 350 GBP

The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is ideally placed for exploring the Northumbrian Coastal Route, Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline and the Scottish Borders. The opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from nearby Seahouses, is not to be missed. Alternatively check the tide times and cross to Holy Island to visit the historic Lindisfarne Priory.
