The surrounding area has many beautiful country house estates which are open to the public and are great places for day trips, including those at Sandringham, Holkham, and Houghton Hall. The area is, of course, a firm favourite with those who are looking for a seaside holiday, and there are numerous beaches, pretty harbour towns, and coastal wildlife reserves within easy reach of the property, including those at Hunstanton, Kings Lynn, Snettisham and Brancaster (under 15 miles from the property).
Arriving at this property, guests will first come to a hallway which leads onto the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This charming room with its beamed ceiling has the feel of a rustic country hideaway, with its lounge area at one side of the room and the kitchen at the other. A comfortable sofa suite and a colourful rug create a cosy atmosphere in the lounge area where there is also a TV/DVD. The dining table seats four and is overlooked by the kitchen area with its good range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. Wooden stairs lead from this room up to the galleried double bedroom, an unusual and pretty room with a romantic feel situated in the eaves of the property. The second bedroom, a twin, can be found downstairs, just across the entrance hall from the bathroom which offers a shower-over-bath and WC.
To the rear of the property, patio doors open from the lounge area out onto a private patio for which there is a BBQ and garden furniture provided. A spacious shared games room is a fantastic addition to the property and has plenty to keep younger guests or competitive adults occupied. There is a snooker table, pool table, and table tennis, as well as a selection of toys and games for young children. There is plenty of off-road parking.
