Harborfront..Location, Location! (only 26 units) AND PRIVATE BEACH! This private condo, on the water, allows you to view the harbor / bay activity from your own lanai. Fully furnished with air and ceiling fans throughout. Gentle harbor breezes greet you in the dining and living room. Private heated pool and hot tub, on harbor, just steps away. Only two condo buildings. A fabulous restaurant with inside/ outside dining, allows for drinks or meals served poolside! (Under repair from the hurricane)A free boat ride takes you to Rum Bay Restaurant, for meals, snacks or just a frozen drink. Just steps from the restaurant, we have our own private beach with lounge chairs available for your use. Golf carts for rent so you can tour the island, and tennis courts available for your use. Full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, blender etc. Gas grill available..Washer/ dryer. Linens and towels supplied. Cable T.V. VCR, DVD, wi-fi, stereo, included. Access to Palm Island by ferry, which is free when you rent Harbortown, so great to pop over for lunch, dinner, or just relax in the lounge chairs, that are provided on our private beach!!! No crowds! Only 3 miles to Boca Grande, . Cape Haze, Venice and Sarasota min. away. The get-away you have been searching for! RELAXATION and a private beach with free boat ride to our special little island!!!🌴


Hidden paridise!: This is an area in Florida that is away from it all. You are close to beaches and restaurants, but away from the hustle and bustle of Florida, and the traffic. This is a very tranquil setting, and a wonderful place to rest and relax. Ivisited this area, I fell in love with it, and ended up buying...me the non-Florida person. The weather is fantastic with the breeze from the water, the people are very friendly and the quiet location is a welcome retreat. A perfect place to 'recharge' your batteries! Everything is so close, it makes it easy to get around. The beaches are fantastic and the boat activity from the lanai is really interesting to watch. If you are interested...give me a call, or email. I will gladly answer any questions. Everything is there, awaiting your arrival. Just pack, and 'turn the key' to your next vacation. I will have the condo ready and waiting. Also close to Sarasota, Venice, Boca Grande and Punta Gorda.

Things To Do!: Get up and have breakfast in the morning sun on the lanai, grab your favorite book and sit in the sun, or shade on the lanai and read, go for a swim in the pool or use the hot tub, change and take a FREE boat ride from the pool to Rum Bay Restaurant, have lunch, Relax in a lounge chair on our private beach , take the boat back to the condo, have drinks and appetizers on the lanai, or at the pool, watching the sunset and harbor activity, or grill your dinner outside, or have dinner at Johnny Leverocks, ( under repair) which is only a few steps away, right by the pool and have your evening meal outside! (great food) Beautiful scenery! Very few people!!!!! All this without getting in your car. How nice is that!!
You can also do the ordinary things, golf, play tennis, shop, go to other beaches, eat out (very inexpensive), or go to one of the neighboring towns. Boca Grande is a must..wonderful little village! Beautiful homes!

Quiet and friendly neighborhood

We met a lot of very nice people! Hurricane damage to this area was significant, and recovery is slow. Our host was excellent! She was thoughtful, caring, and our communication was easy and prompt. We love this area with it's wonderful restaurants, beaches, and craft fairs.

Needs Work...

I grew up in the area back in the 70s and 80s and the condo we stayed in is a reflection of my childhood era. It was a roof over our head. It has a lot of potential but, needs updating badly! The neighbor directly below smokes some nasty, strong cigarettes. Sitting on the porch was nice until he lit up. The cigarette smoke was so bad it would send us inside.

We love Harbortown

The Harbortown condo is very nice and is in a great location. We enjoy taking the ferry to Palm Island for a stroll, and for the restaurant which is very good. The pool area is also nice. We definitely recommend this condo!

Awesome Relaxing Stay

We loved our stay. Pool and hot tub used every day and night. No crowds. Loved taking the water taxi daily to the private beach. Residents living in condos very nice. Condo was very clean, nice views, just a bit outdated with furnishings. Would definitely stay again.

This condo is in a good spot, but could use some freshing up. Needs new towels, a mattress and paint (at least). There was an elevator in that building which was helpful because I was on crutches!

Great location

The location was perfect for us and Lorna was very responsive and accommodating! I would let other travelers know that you do have to go up two flights of stairs to get to the condo with no elevator, it was fine for us but for some older folks with luggage It might be difficult!

We had a wonderful stay in this harborfront condo. The unit is older and the bathroom, especially, needs renovation but it's clean, comfortable and quiet, with everything you need. There are nice views of the harbor and Intercoastal from the screened in balcony. Being able to use the Palm Island Resort facilities was a definite plus - pool, free water taxi to the island, etc. And having Leverocks Restaurant in the complex was very convenient. Any problems were taken care of right away by the friendly unit owner. All-in-all a good experience we would repeat! One note: The TVs are the old "big box" kind and there are limited channels. If you want to watch particular shows, best to bring your computer/tablet. The wifi works well!

RELAXING

The description for this condo is right on. We stayed the month of March. 30 of the 31 days were 83 degrees and no wind. Wonderful golf is just 10 minutes away. Spent our time reading on the lanai while watching the activity in the Marina, playing golf and visiting the many wonderful restaurants and nearby towns and beaches. A great experience and highly recommended.

Fun in the sun at Harbortown!

This was our first vacation at Harbortown and it was all that was stated. This one bedroom condo was ideal for a couple looking to seek a fun, but relaxing time with the various amenities it has to offer. The dinners at Rum Bay or Leverrock's restaurant were well worth the price. The private beach was wonderful, as the beach chairs were right there, and the beach is a much less populated place for great walks and sea shell searching. The pool area was truly a welcome addition after a day of sightseeing. Lorna happened to be in the complex during our stay and she was very willing to fix a TV glitch with Xfinity. Lorna was very quick to respond to any request we had in booking the condo and worked with us in scheduling her place. We appreciate all that Lorna did to accommodate our needs. Englewood is a relaxing adventure with parks, beaches, art festivals, farmer's markets, seafood festivals, and harbor activities to keep you as busy as you want to be. We plan to visit Englewood again.

Can't beat the location and the view.

This is the 4th year that we have stayed for the month of February and are looking forward to next year. A great location overlooking the marina. A short drive to stores and many restaurants. Water taxi to island, beach and Rum Bay restaurant. A nice 15min scenic trip. Pool and hot tub are great and you can walk to a great restaurant. Nice to have breakfast on the lanai overlooking the marina.

ROMANTIC GETAWAY

What a nice change of pace! We were extremely tired upon our arrival and the condo was clean and bright. Day after day, the morning sun, blue skies and water and a nice warm breeze. The lanai provides a nice view of the boat activities. While there, we took the ferry to Palm Island, where we found a beautiful and private beach. The restaurant, within walking distance provides a nice meal, and again the view. The pool area is also within walking distance and is very clean. This condo is located near the beaches, restaurants, grocery stores and major cities. This is a great place to unwind and get away from it all.

Nice change of pace to your typical beach condo.

Our family rented this condo during Spring Break. It was a good value for the price and a nice change from your typical beach condo. We frequently opened up the unit and a nice cool breeze would flow through. The screened in porch was great for relaxing and looking out over the boats. It was also nice to take a short stroll outside around the marina/pool area and look at the boats, water and general scenery. Everything was in convenient driving distance or one night when we didn't feel like driving so we just walked over to the restaurant on site. The condo had everything we need so after a short trip to a local grocery store, we were set to eat in when we felt like it. The water taxi was a fun change, but watch out when you are coming back if its later at night. We really enjoyed this condo for what it had to offer and look forward to coming back.

Thanks for the wonderful review for your vacation at HARBORTOWN, You really enjoyed all the amenities ...beautiful pool on the harbor, with constant change of scenery with the boats, the on site restaurant, that, is easy access for drinks, appetizers, meals or an after dinner surprise, and only steps away. I LOVE that you can sit back and be served AT THE POOL. Feels like a St Johns vacation!! The water taxi is always fun...dolphins jumping in the wake and on to the beach for some quiet time with only the sound of the ocean, On the way home, after a relaxing time at the beach, it is nice to stop at the Island restaurant for a snack, drink or dinner! Easy to jump back to from the beach...so no packing lunch! And as I always mention. NO CROWDS!! Florida the way it should be enjoyed!
