Unit 45- 2 Bedroom and 2 Bathroom Condominium with Partial Gulf Views. | This two bedroom two bathroom condo is located on the fourth floor of our Grand Tower Building. The amazing views from the condominium are ideal for watching the sunsets! Because of its location, it is a short stroll to our white quartz beach. This beautifully decorated condominium is perfect for a Siesta Key vacation. The master bedroom has a two queen beds with a 32" flat screen TV and the guest bedroom has a king size bed with a 43" flat screen TV. Enjoy Direct TV service in the living room as well with a 55" flat screen TV. To comply with the Sarasota County fire code, the maximum number of guests permitted to sleep in this unit is six. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower and the guest bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The open kitchen plan has granite counter tops and an abundance of cabinets. It is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker. The condo has tile in the common area and carpeting in the bedrooms. The patio has been incorporated into the living room which expands your entertainment area and has sliding windows that you can enjoy our warm tropical breezes. The pool on the beach shown in the photo is not part of our property.

This property was fabulous. It had amazing large windows with nice views, was very clean and had everything that we needed. The beach was literally steps away. We were so happy with our stay here.

Great Getaway!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend getaway! The only complaint would be it had no balcony and the bedroom with Queen beds were too hard.

Security is great and we felt very safe (gated, security codes and arm bands) We had a problem with our shower and before we even walked back from the office the maintenance guys were there. There were 5 of us and we are already planning our trip back for next year! We all highly recommend The Palm Bay Club!! 😊🌴

We were dissatisfied with the elevator service. Only 1 worked with a near sold old if not sold out property. No discount was offered despite their next door competitor offering one. Despite the security, kids hit all the buttons in the elevator and ran through the property making noise past 10 pm.

Our after hours self check-in was great thanks to the detailed instructions we received in advance. The unit was exactly as described, very clean and has a lovely partial ocean view. It's bright & open with tons of storage and space to spread out. My only complaint would be the Keurig coffee maker is missing the lid to the water reservoir. We never made it to the pools because the beach was so amazing. We loved the convenience of the included chairs and beach towels. The grounds of the entire complex are beautiful and well maintained. One thing that stuck out was the friendliness of everyone we encountered, from the staff & security guards to the other guests. We will definitely be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff was exceptionally helpful. I'd like to thank Tammy for her 25 years of service she was excellent! The condo location was ok but the unit needs some TLC and updating. The bathroom ceilings are peeling, the toilets are too low. The master bedroom should have the King bed and the guest bedroom should have the two queens beds. It would be nice to have a hairdryer in both bathrooms. Also, it would be nice to have some cleaning products like an all purpose cleaner and windex. The Keurig coffee pot should be replaced.

Great location, needs some updates

The condo is right on the beach, which was fantastic. The building/complex is not within walking distance to anything, unless you want a long walk. But there are free shuttles on the island that will take you just about anywhere. Building and condo were clean. This condo was in the tower, which has 2 elevators. One was not working the whole time so it was a bit of a wait almost every time you needed the elevator (I understand they were waiting for parts). As for the condo, it needs a few updates - was a bit more worn than expected according to the pictures, but not bad at all. Kitchen faucet needs replacing - very corroded and sprayer is hard to put back in place as we needed to force it a few times. We needed to call maintenance for a few things - they came right away and were very courteous and quick, very nice. We loved that they also provided beach towels - not every complex provides those. There were also games and some beach items, and the complex has nice beach chairs that are provided. Laundry is not in-unit and you have to pay for it, but the utility room was right outside our door. For the rental price we paid, I would not have expected to pay for the laundry. All in all, the unit was very nice and we had everything we needed. One of the downsides is that there was no assigned parking and only 3 handicap spaces (I have a bad hip and walk with a cane). Most of the spaces that are close to the building are reserved so we had to park down the lot a ways. I think assigned parking would be nice so you know where you are parking instead of having to search for a spot every time you go out. The office staff and cleaning staff were all very nice and helpful. Check in/out was quick and easy. The complex offers a free "touch up" cleaning if you have a long stay (we were there 9 days). Halfway through our stay, they cleaned the bathrooms, changed out all the linens and remade the beds. Overall, it was a great spot, nice building/unit. We had a great time. I would recommend this unit.

Not for Us!

I have stayed in over two dozen VRBO and Airbnb properties in the US and UK and have never felt the need to leave a bad review for any of them. Let’s start with the fire alarm that could barely be heard in the condo. I realize there is a lot of background noise in this unit (the cooling tower, the air conditioner, the elevator, the washer and dryer in the hall utility room, the folks above). But we weren’t the only one standing outside at 12:45 am saying we could not clearly distinguish there was a fire alarm going off. How is that safe? Next is the master toilet that repeatedly clogged. Who wants to plunge a toilet every other day on vacation? The heavy duty plunger should have been the first sign that there was a serious plumbing problem. The water stained and patched bathroom ceilings should have been the second. The circa 1970 toilets/seats should have been the third The front desk acknowledged this was an ongoing issue and then schooled me for not calling sooner?! The maid service we requested to clean the bathroom never arrived and there are no cleaning supplies in the unit. We stopped using this bathroom. Third, the elevator situation (see previous review). Only one works. And if housekeeping is in the building, they take priority leaving guests stranded in the lobby for extended periods of time. Last, most of the rugs and upholstered furnishings in the unit are stained, and the common areas in the Grand Tower would not meet any definition of clean. All other fixtures and furnishings in the condo are dated (the mirrors everywhere are a nightmare) and not well-maintained with exception to the kitchen which appears to have been recently renovated. On the positive side, the grounds are well maintained, the beach is very nice and the pool is large and in good condition (but a hike from the Grand Tower building ). I would never stay here again, nor recommend this community to others based on our experience.
