Beautiful Townhome in The Highly Acclaimed Community of Bayside.
*Please note that we do not have a pool membership. This means we CANNOT purchase pool passes, or guest passes through our property.
4 night minimum June-Aug.

Our house is a well appointed three bedroom townhouse on a quiet street located in The Commons Section in the Community of Bayside, just off of Route 54 in Selbyville, Delaware. We are approximately 6 miles from both the pristine beaches of Fenwick Island, Delaware and Ocean City, Maryland. It is a two story townhome with a Master bedroom and adjacent full bathroom on the first floor. The well designed kitchen and spacious family room as well as dining room are also on this floor as well as a powder room. There is plenty of parking outside the front door which is very convenient. The wide common lawn just feet away from the front door can be used for lawn games and other sports. Out back we have a very private paved patio with table and chairs along with a propane BBQ for your use as well. On the second floor you will find a bedroom with a Queen Size bed , another bedroom with two Double beds and a full bathroom. Another TV and sitting area is on the second floor in our loft. For you music lovers, The Freeman Stage is a venue from which many nationally known acts perform throughout the summer months. We offer the use of several bicycles to be used at your own risk and convenience. If you are looking for a peaceful alternative close to the beach then this home is for you!

* Sheets and Towels are NOT included with the cleaning fee. You can request to borrow ours, but they must be washed, dried and folded before you leave.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
When using the outdoor patio in the rear of house, please be very quiet after 10 PM to keep our good neighbors happy. No exceptions Please!

This was a wonderful property for our family, there was plenty of space for us. We loved having access to bikes to bike all around the beautiful community. The owners were great about communication and made check in and check out very easy. I definitely recommend staying here.

Truly memorable stay!

This was our second year staying at this property and we couldn’t have been happier. Lauren is absolutely amazing to work with, the property is well organized and has everything you need. The community has several things to do with your children.. there was a magic show at the pavilion during our stay. My son enjoyed playing soccer in the open field across the street and of course you’re close to all of the normal beach activities. We just a great time and look forward to heading back next year!

Very pleasant, neighbor was friendly. Lauren was very quick to respond to questions or requests. She allowed me to have a family dinner, it ended up being 27 people. there was plenty of room. Everyone thought the house was great. the deck outback was very pleasant. We all had a quiet dinner and then played cards.

Perfect place!

Lauren was so great to deal with. It was as if you were renting from a friend. The check in process was super easy and the property is very well maintained and fit all of our needs! It is a short drive to the beaches on the coast and there is a good sized grocery store right in the neighborhood which makes it a great location. There are beach chairs there which we used every day when we went to the beaches in ocean city. We also ventured down to Rehoboth beach which was maybe a 40 minute drive(not bad at all). My kids also enjoyed fishing in the several ponds that are within the development/neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!!! Thanks Lauren for allowing my family to create lifelong memories!!

Nice Home in a great location

Lauren was a great host. From day one her communication was great. We didn't have to ask for any information on the days leading up to our vacation or during our stay because it was provided in a timely fashion. Anyone looking for a vacation rental near Bethany Beach and Ocean City this is it. A suggestion to any renters would be to understand that there is a linen policy. I would suggest that you start washing the linens the night before to ensure you have enough time to get them washed and dryed. The neighborhood is gorgeous and well maintained from the landscaping to the craftsmanship of the homes. My family an I felt safe and would definitely vacation in the area again.

Rainy stay

The home was a great layout for my family of 4. It was decorated nicely, and clean. We did have a couple issues with things that didn’t work, but nothing that should keep anyone from booking. A couple light switches didn’t work or possibly needed new bulbs, the dishwasher wasn’t working properly which they did address with us prior to arriving, and the water filter on the refrigerator had the light on. None of these were a big deal and we didn’t bring them to the owner’s attention. I had a hard time finding check in and checkout times which might have been because I was using my phone and it wasn’t directing me to the original listing. When I emailed Lauren about this she promptly responded and was great about letting us get in early as we were unfortunately booked during a week of rainy weather and wanted to take advantage of the beach the first day before that all started. We would definitely book again! More than anything, I appreciated that they weren’t charging exorbitant fees like most Vrbo listings these days.

Bayside is the BEST vacation spot!

Lauren was the most gracious host. She was responsive and answered all my questions. Her house is perfect for a family vacation. I felt like I was borrowing a house from a good friend. We played cards in the back and at the table. We read books on her comfy couches. We drove to the beach and inland to shop in Berlin. We filled her frig with takeout and food from Harris Teeter. We even enjoyed Choir, Choir, Choir at the Freeman Arts Pavillion. It was a wonderful week.

A pleasant surprise!

This spacious house is situated in a newer club community and is attractively furnished. It is well stocked with everything you can imagine, even the staples (food and gadgets) for the kitchen were above and beyond. The beds are comfortable, the location peaceful and quiet and access to the bicycles was a plus! Parking is plentiful though that wasn’t a necessity in our case. All in all, it is evident the owners take pride in their property and are responsive with their guests. Yes, we are pleased with our stay and would gladly return.

Relaxing getaway in gorgeous townhome

Our family loved staying in this beautifully decorated, spacious, and well-kept townhome in Bayside. The quiet community was great for biking, fishing, and walks, and is convenient to Fenwick beaches and OCMD activities. We’d stay again in a heartbeat! Owners were flexible with us on dates and check-in. Highly recommend!

We are a family of 3 from Northern Baltimore County. We spend a few weekend and a few weeks during the summer. We love all of the amenities Bayside has to offer.

Why they chose this property

It's an end of group townhome in a very quiet area. Parking can be at a premium in Bayside, and we are fortunate to have plenty. We are the only street to have a parking strip that can easily accommodate 4-5 cars, and a driveway. The grassy strip of lawn is great for kids/teens. There is often a soccer or lacrosse net set up, and plenty of room for kids to run around.
