The cabin is clean and is well kept. The lake is wonderful for swimming, boating and fishing. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the host was friendly and helpful. We hope to return next year.

We loved it
Great place! Clean, comfortable, and a good location. Right on the lake and close to the coast. The Haugen’s are a wonderful family and made our stay a real pleasure. Would recommend this property to everyone.
Lovely clean cabin with a great view and easy water access. Everything we needed was right there. Perfect spot to get away from it all. We can’t wait to return next year!
This has been the perfect getaway on the lake for us. It's so well maintained, quiet, clean and comfortable. We have been coming for 4 years, and plan to return again and again. Glen is a wonderful host- friendly and makes sure we have everything we need. It's our ideal vacation spot. Can't recommend it enough.
We stayed here the last two years and loved it. Definitely the cleanest vacation house we've ever rented. Glenn and Elsa are great hosts and we always enjoy chatting with them. The cabin is perfect for two and is close enough to the coast for day trips to Camden, Belfast and Rockport. Highly recommended.
I enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake from the deck while working remotely for a week. The owner, who lives next door, maintains the property nicely and was helpful whenever I needed him.
We stayed here several years ago and were happy to return. I enjoyed paddling on the lake and up the river and back. The cottage is as described and Glen was accessible and accommodating.
We are returning guests and found this to be as wonderful as we remembered, and worth the wait. The cabin is immaculate and very well kept, the lake perfection, and the hosts friendly, gracious, and helpful. Could not ask for anything more for a peaceful time at the lake with my husband.
What’s not to love? The owners were charming, helpful, and very welcoming. The setting had a lapping lake, loons, starry skies, profound quiet after dark, and a breeze that kept the black flies away. The cabin was clean, tidy, well stocked (kitchen), and had many windows so the outdoors were never far away. The owners even provided a couple space heaters since the temps dipped into the 40s a few nights. There was a beautiful deck with a large bistro table, chairs, and umbrella. The fire pit was huge - and had plenty of firewood. There were extra lawn chairs and a table that were easy to carry down to the dock for lakeside coffee and reading. Plus, the cabin was situated very near to lots of hiking areas and the coast - perfect for day trips. Needless to say, my friend and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We had an absolutely wonderful time! Glen is a great host! Cottage was perfect for what we were looking for! Able to relax, listen to the loons, see an eagle, kayak and swim. What more can you ask for!
My husband and I stayed at Glenn's cabin for a week and everything was perfect! When we arrived, we noticed how clean and well-kept everything was. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for a week, pots, pans, plates, cups, and more. We were pleasantly surprised that even the Wi-fi was stong and there was a smart TV that had Netflix and HBO Max. The views from the dock were beautiful and we enjoyed our days relaxing in the water and soaking up the sun. We even enjoyed s'mores around the campfire and Glenn took us out for a ride in his boat for a tour of the lake. We cannot express how much we enjoyed it enough and we hope to be back again!
This is a cozy get-away with gracious hosts. The cabin was very clean, attractive, and well stocked. Nice big deck and dock for relaxing. Hosts were friendly (they live on the same property) but gave us plenty of privacy. Would love to go back again next year.
To put it simply, the cabin that Glenn provides is magical. Cozy, clean, comfortable and with a stunning view, our stay was so much more than we hoped for. Glenn is so friendly and generous and has created a perfect lake getaway. The kayaks were amazing, beautiful fire pit, brand new grill, and a porch where you could just let the day slip away. I could not recommend this cabin enough. Thank you!
We only 2 choices in the area for our dates and close to our daughter's house, a Bed and Breakfast and this cabin. I saw the ratings and pictures and because this was closer, I chose this cabin. I didn't read the description until after I booked (which is my fault), so I was disappointed when I saw that it said no children. I was hoping that our grandchildren could come and stay with us there at the lake some. And also, since we were flying, we didn't have room to bring our own sheets and towels. We had to buy sheets when we got there and borrowed towels from our daughter. These things were in the listing, we just didn't have many options. But we didn't know that if the cabin lost power we wouldn't have water and not be able to flush the toilet. We had to leave earlier than we intended to that day because of that. It is a nice cabin with a nice view of the lake, but it just wasn't what we wanted. And I was surprised that there were no instructions left for us to know what to do when we left.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this camp. The beautiful setting is so peaceful, and I loved having my morning coffee on the deck, watching the sun light up the water. Glenn and Elsa were the perfect hosts!
We really enjoyed staying at this lakefront property. Glen and his mom we're very accommodating and so nice. We really enjoyed our week-long visit and would not hesitate revisiting and the future. Great place to be if you like peace and quiet.
