The people we rented from were absolutely amazing!! The property is just beautiful and the tiny is as exactly as explained in VRBO. We would definitely rent here again!! We loved everything about the place!!
Great little place to stay. Has a nice pond area with swimming activities and fishing. Cabins are somewhat close but they have good tall privacy fences between them. Great outdoor seating. Clean inside and out.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Yellow Door Cabin! The space was modern, clean, and so thoughtfully designed—it had such a cute and cozy vibe. Tucked away in a peaceful country setting, it offered the most beautiful sunsets each evening. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—close to incredible wineries and delicious local cuisine, yet quiet enough to truly relax. It was the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and soak it all in. I would definitely stay again!

The loft with the second bed in it hadn't been attended to. There were live spiders and webs in the corners of the loft. My children were too scared to sleep up there so it make living arrangements pretty uncomfortable. Also, my daughter and I both had to remove ticks from our skin. Please take care of bug situation!

Nice setting. Not too far from Ferne Clyffe, which was where we wanted to go. Nice size kitchen and bathroom, with good water pressure. Good WiFi. Cabin could have been cleaner. Loft was dusty with a dirty Kleenex on the floor. We had to wash the dishes before we used them. Back deck smelled strongly of mildew, so we couldn’t sit out there.
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely micro cabin. The property was beautiful and quiet. We were able to check off all of our must-see items due to it's great central location.
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Although it wasn’t fairly big, it contained most of the necessary amenities we needed. The view at the fire pit was excellent as the sun set. There were many insects inside, but it didn’t really bother us. We cooked a lot so a dishwasher would be very helpful. The water of the shower head was extremely small and it took us lots of time to finish the shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we hope this review will help.
The tiny cabin had everything we needed for a short 2 night stay in the Lake of Egypt area. Not far from the property is the Cross Eyed Bear for good food and drinks, but with a great kitchen set up with a grill, you might not need to or want to go out to eat. Beautiful hiking is about a 15 min drive away, and you’re also about 20-30 minutes from picturesque wineries. Loved our stay, and we will have to be back!
What a wonderful experience! The cabin was perfect. Lovely grounds, everything you could possibly want/need for a fabulous weekend retreat!
Will DEFINITELY book again!

Why they chose this property
We purchased this property after 9 years of lake living on Lake of Egypt. As much as we enjoyed our lakefront home, we were ready to trade in our waterfront for acreage to raise our growing family.
What makes this property unique
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a micro cabin or tiny house? Our cabins are considered "large" tiny homes at 560 square feet- making them fun, but very roomy and comfortable. We love the modern appeal and designed them with our young- and young at heart- travelers in mind. They feature warm wood elements with soft white shiplap and plenty of natural light.
