Welcome to Beau Sejour, an authentic Maine oasis down a secluded and private road, with panoramic ocean views. Key features of this property are the unique covered decks off main living spaces that offer spectacular views and gorgeous morning sunrises. Both up and lower decks overhang the water's edge, a one of a kind experience!

*Decks offer great entertaining areas with lower deck staircase accessing the beach at low tide. Living room has flat screen TV that features over 200 channels. Dining Room table seats six comfortably. Also serves as a nice sitting/den area with french door leading onto upper deck.

Bedrooms all have panoramic ocean views with master king bed featuring a memory foam mattress, second bedroom has twin beds that convert with fillers to a king. Third bedroom has queen bed with the best sunrise views of all. Kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils needed along with refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, toaster, blender & coffee pot along with a gas grill on upper deck. Off lower deck is a private, enclosed shower.

Private and very quiet yet only a few minutes to great restaurants and shopping for your daily needs. Located on Bailey Island road which extends 15 miles of beautiful small connected islands. Thirty minutes from Boothbay Harbor, Freeport and the popular city of Portland which features great food and art. Bowdoin College is home of the Maine State Music Theater. Something you do not want to miss.

A wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The deck overlooking the lake is so lovely and the perfect spot to watch the sunrise. This house is located at a convenient location where you are off the main road, but super close to the main highways, grocery store, etc. The house has many sweet cottage-like touches and we were happy with the quick communication with the owner. We would certainly love to stay here again! Highly recommend for a cozy stay in Maine.

This house was a perfect fit for my family of 3 and we had a room left over. It will exced your expectations! My son attends Bowdoin College and it's an easy drive to campus and you get to stay in a little oasis. We will absolutely be back!!

Amazing Week in Maine!!!

Beau Sejour exceeded all of our expectations! The online pictures are beautiful, but simply don't do the property justice. The views from the home and the home itself are truly amazing. We especially enjoyed coffee and reading on the back porch, breakfast in the screened in porch, lobsters on the picnic table and the outdoor showers after kayaking. You can tell Fran and Olivia put an exceptional amount of time and thought into making your stay memorable and comfortable. The personal touches of fresh flowers along with notes and welcome gifts made the house feel like a home away from home. The home was exceptionally clean and was very accessible to many local activities. Olivia was an outstanding host and communicated very timely. She recommended several activities that helped make our stay even more enjoyable. We only wished we could stay longer!

Perfect Maine Getaway

The location was beyond expectations and the cottage, itself, was cozy and quite attractive. My wife and I wound up agreeing we preferred it to our home. The owner went out of her way to ensure a pleasant stay. I'd say that the only thing we felt was lacking was the use of that vintage wood stove. Would be great to have that in working order.

Just what the doctor ordered

This property is one of the most relaxing places my wife and I have ever visited. The views from the back deck are magical. In fact, we woke up at 5:00 am and took pictures of a sunrise that I have recently put on canvas. The owners live a house away and were very responsive and helped us plan things to do. However, the house is a destination unto itself. We really didn’t want to leave as you felt like you were on a floating houseboat. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, this property is just what the doctor ordered.

Amazing house

This house is incredible. Beautiful and clean, location feels isolated but also just a short ride to the main road, & kitchen has everything you could need. We usually explore the town but we didn't even want to leave the house the whole time! Fran was an amazing host with personalized touches and fresh flowers in every room. A Perfect Place to Breathe!

Well...this was our second marvelous stay with Fran. So excited to say the second time was more incredible than the first. The morning sunrise and afternoon sunsets are amazing! Quiet, Well Kept Home with Double Decks!

This is a wonderful property. Well maintained, clean, and very quiet! The house was a great place to relax! Having coffee on one of the two decks to watch the sunrise was fantastic! The owner did a number of little things (like place fresh flowers in the living room) that made this place even better! We would recommend this property! We had a great stay!

1st Family vacay with out at children

This was our first vacation with or adult children and their significant others. It was made that much more special due to the accommodations. The surroundings are incredible and the house is quintessentially Maine. Every moment was comfortable even for 6 very tall people. We even cooked dinner a couple of nights which was really easy with a well stocked kitchen. Can't give enough kudos. Fran's wonderful touches just add to your stay. Highly recommended renting this place that is unless you are planning on staying at the same time I want to! Lol! Absolutely wonderful in every way!

Great time in Brunswick

Property was as expected and everything we needed. Beautiful sunrises and we happened to be there during full moon, which was spectacular reflecting off the water. Never went on the dock as we really spent the days doing things in other area. If anything, just be aware that the boathouse facility is off limits! Property listing says enjoy the dock and I guess we “assumed” boathouse would be included; however, it is strictly off limits. We ended up not spending any time on dock or in the water. The house was great and you will enjoy all the amazing deck space! Also, furniture in living area was comfy!

Looking for a location on the water, we stumbled upon this property. It was exactly as described, clean, well appointed, and in an excellent location for our day trips. My only complaint was that we traveled during the hottest week of the year, and there was no AC. This is typical of Maine, so we cannot hold that against the property... But it was HOT upstairs even with the fans already in the home. Just the way it goes in the summer... Thankfully there was a breeze from the water. The views made up for the discomfort That being said, we would definitely stay again and look fwd to a FALL adventure. Thanks for sharing this home!
