The Cabin
Kitchen has everything you need to cook except oven... Stove top, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee pot, all dishes, pots, pans, utensils are provided. Each cabin has AC units to help you cool down as well as cove heat if you are visiting in the cooler months. All linens and towels are provided along with basic soaps.

Outside Space
Cool off in the shared back yard with gentle log swing and seating area all under our huge willow tree. Or stretch your legs and let the kids burn some energy off in the two shared large front yards! There is a swing set for the kiddos, and 2 firepits for evening enjoyment.

Located just a few blocks off the main street in Custer you can walk to the grocery store along with shopping and restaurants!

My husband and I stayed at the moose cabin. It was just the place for us. It was small but really we didn’t spend a lot of time there. It had all we needed & it was clean. The bed was comfortable neither one of us complained about our nights sleep. It’s close to shops, restaurants & stores. The host was super nice, she stopped by to see if we needed anything. I would stay at the moose cabin again we were in the area.

Cute Cabin

This tiny cabin was perfect for the few days that we had in the Custer area. It was close to several parks and very close to town. We enjoyed reading in the shared backyard during our down time. We would stay again next time we are in the area.

Clean!

We enjoyed our stay at this little place. It was perfect for just the two of us. Two important things to me when it comes to lodging…needs to be clean and have good lighting in the bathroom and this met both of those. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect quiet place

We stayed in a two room plus bathroom unit. Approximately 250 square feet. We had a front porch and plenty of places to sit outside. Crystal was a visible, nice hostess!

Good time in cabin

Liked the cabin but I felt it could have been a little cleaner. Maybe some air fresheners would have been nice. The couch definitely needs to be updated. The rug needs to be shampooed. I also think the tv should not be set up high on the wall. It can give a crick in your neck looking up at it. Could just set it on the table for as small as a room it is.

South Dakota in June

It was a perfect vacation, and our cozy Ponderosa cabin was our sweet home away from home. Custer is centrally located between the Badlands and Devil's Tower. Then Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave NP, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park are just minutes away. The cabin was clean, grounds well kept, and Crystal is the ultimate in a Premier Host. Do not hesitate! Book this now.

Cozy cabin with a great location.

Overall very happy with the cabin but the bathroom was very tiny and I am a plus size woman. Luckily it was just me and my husband. Also we only spent the evenings at the cabin because we were out exploring all day long. We liked how close it was to downtown area, with a grocery store only blocks away. The only other thing that was a drawback was the internet and cell service in the area was not good. I have Verizon network as my cell service and maybe other networks work better. Also I know it was located in mountain area with lots of valleys. It did not run my vacation I just had to wait to download a lot of my photos until I got back home. I just want to let other people know just in case that would be a big issue for someone else. I would recommend this cabin for a great place to stay. Victoria S.

Ourr trip to Sturgis

We enjoyed our stay. Only issues were parking our motorcycles on gravel, in front of cabin, but we worked it out. A short walk downtown to many restraunts. We would definitely book here again!!
