Relax in this raised beach home in Surfside Beach. You will enjoy 3 bedrooms each with private bath. Start your day with breakfast made in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy the ocean breeze from the screened front porch. One covered porch on main level, master bedroom on 2nd level features access to sunporch. Just a short half block walk to the well maintained beach in Surfside, known as the "family beach". Just a few stairs and a very short boardwalk and you are on the beach! Very convenient location, you can easily walk, bicycle or golf cart to local restaurants, parks and fishing piers. Handicapped beach access one block down. Walk to oceanfront restaurant/bar.

This house is beautifully decorated, has a convenient layout for families, and the private pool was perfect. Conveniently located one block from the beach, and less than 5 minutes from anything you’d like to do in Surfside or Garden City. The host was very good about communicating with us, very friendly, and the check in process was easy.

Beach Vacation

This was our first time staying in a vacation home instead of a condo, and we absolutely loved it. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing trip.The private pool was a huge hit—we spent a lot of time swimming and lounging without having to worry about crowds. The beach was just a short walk away, which made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day.Check-in was super easy and stress-free, which helped us start our vacation off on the right foot. We also rented a golf cart, which was a fun and convenient way to get to local restaurants, ice cream shops, and souvenir stores without needing to drive our car.Overall, this place gave us the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and fun. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great Beach Vacation

Sandy Cheeks is a great spot to vacation in Surfside Beach. The property owners are incredibly polite and responsive. The house is kept up well and has a private pool, all within about a two block walk to the beach. Terrific place. We'll be back!!

Nicely appointed and great location.

Heading back again and will probably try to book whenever we can. This house is just a short walk from beach entrance. Total of six guests stayed and the private pool was a good size for our group. House was perfectly roomy and the screened balcony is a lovely place to hang out (when it's not too hot). Perfect getaway!

Great 2nd Stay

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this home. My family truly enjoyed our time there. It’s a short walk to the beach and gave us an excellent location to start from when taking our morning walks. The owners are also great to work with as they provided us with important updates when we arrived. Truly is a great family vacation spot.

Another year in Surfside

We keep coming back to this house year after year because it has everything we need and want. Dave and Jen are a delight to rent from. They ensure we have everything we need and communicate very quickly. A beautiful home, a block from the beach.

Special needs holiday

My son with Down Syndrome wanted a beach trip which means swimming pool with palm trees. Many properties would meet that criteria. We are thankful that we also had the good fortune to book with hosts who obviously enjoy being in the hospitality industry. Thanks so much for providing a well kept property with no hidden downside, straightforward communication, and easy check in/ check out.

Absolutely Beautiful home and Family Friendly!

We felt so at home here! Dave & Jen have this rental house feeling so welcoming. Everything was so clean and tidy. The Amenities were more than we expected down to the baby gate for the toddler. Its the perfect community/ house for families with kids. Quiet and right next to the beach! Dave was very clear about instructions and had open communication if anything was needed. I could go on and on with how much we enjoyed everything here. We can't wait to visit Sandy Cheeks home again!

Perfect for families, close to the beach, quiet area!

It can always be a gamble booking a rental online but this property was exactly what I was expecting and more! The location is closer to the beach than the pictures can shows. The pool is great for relaxing and not too big for small children. The accommodations we reasonable for our party of 6 adults and two kids. There is enough room in the king suite and double bunk suite for a pack n play. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes/containers/utensils and left behind Saran Wrap, aluminum foil, and sandwich bags. *Bring your own kitchen knife for food prep* This is a quiet neighborhood south of Myrtle Beach and is perfect for anyone wanting to be outside of the commercial tourism. There were a ton of families on the beach during the day and the area always felt safe, even walking at night. If I were looking to stay in Seaside again, this will be my first choice in houses! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Relaxing getaway

Everything about the location and amenities was perfect for our little family getaway. The beach was clean and quiet. The house looks better in person than in the pictures. Only a few complaints and they weren’t big enough to ruin our stay. A lot of the floats had holes in them so they were unusable, the beach umbrellas were broken and unusable( we had to take out and open each one before finding one that was not broken). The house didn’t look clean upon arrival. We found old French fry on the floor, the cabinets in the kitchen were not clean. And most of the stocked items in shelves and pantry were expired. There was sand on one of the beds pillows and on the floor of laundry area. But we informed the property manager and she said she would inform housekeeping. Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely consider returning to this home.

There's a reason this property has so many positive reviews! The updates and upgrades to the inside of the home as well as the pool area are beautiful.The location is wonderful. We recommend renting a golf cart to get to both Surfside Beach and Garden City Beach for lunch, drinks, shopping, whatever.Dave and Jen were excellent hosts and communication and check-in and check-out with them were all quick and easy. If you're looking to stay in Surfside, I highly recommend this property. Thanks, Dave and Jen, for opening your home to us so we could have such wonderful week with family.

Second year returning to ‘Sandy Cheeks’, it’s without a doubt my favorite place to visit, the house has everything you could want, is in a perfect location, close to beach, dining, night entertainment and of course the luxury of a private pool. I can’t say enough good things about Dave and Jen also, from the second we booked they can’t do enough to help and answer any questions.Would recommend 1000%
