Liked: Check-in, communication, location
The location of the house is nice, the neighborhood/community where it is located is really beautiful. We went for a stroll as soon as we arrived. We had a few hiccups and miscommunication with our stay but the host was understanding.
We loved our stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful and the cabin was comfortable with enough room for a family of 4 to not trip over each other. Cara was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. We would absolutely stay here again.
Very easy check in and check out process. Great location to skiing and hiking. Nice quiet area. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and necessities. Very clean! We had a great stay!
It was such a cozy, home-like feeling of a cabin and our friends with a 4 year old easily accommodated just as easy as we did with a 2 month old baby! Beautiful place to stay!
We had an amazing stay in this cozy cabin! Perfect for our family of five. The snow made it the most beautiful weeejend! Great communication from host!
This cabin is exactly as advertised. Perfect location and the hosts are excellent communicators. Highly recommended (just not during the days WE want to stay, LOL).
Such a great cabin situated in the perfect spot to catch all the local offerings. The cabin has everything you need for a fun trip with your family or friends. I’d highly recommend. The host was communicative. The cabin was clean and updated. The hiking trail inside the neighborhood was an added bonus!
Our family went on a weekend getaway and stayed at this cabin for two nights. Recent storms had left a lot of snow in the area, but it was obvious the roads leading up to the cabin were very well taken care of. The cabin itself was very cozy and well taken care of. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of four. The dining room take was a great place for us to gather to eat and play games while watching the Winter Olympics on TV. The cabin's heating worked great in every room and there was a stove with gas logs in the living room for added heat and ambience. The cabin is also in a great location whether you want to go to Banner Elk, Linville, Boone, Grandfather Mountain, or any of the local ski places. We went to Hawksnest Adventures, which was less than 15 minutes away, to go snow tubing...super fun! The Blue Ridge Parkway is also very close, but was closed while we were visiting. The hosts were great. The cabin was clean. We would definitely stay here again.
Very beautiful cabin nestled in a very safe neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and are booking our next trip soon!

About the host
Hosted by Carra Schriber
My husband and I live in the mountains of NC. We love traveling, spending time outside hiking, gardening, jumping off waterfalls or enjoying a craft beer at one of our local breweries with friends. Our favorite place to visit would be the Outer Banks of NC. Great place to spend time with family and friends and of course excellent fishing. I work at Appalachian State University and my husband owns and operates his company River to Ridge Property Services.
