Adorable cosy stone cottage, newly renovated, with private pool and lovely views
This former stone barn has been recently renovated and converted into comfortable accomodation, and is new to the rental market. Classed three stars in 2020.
Situated in a tiny hamlet typical of the Dordogne, the house benefits from tasteful and quality furnishings, stone walls, exposed beams and a wonderful raised terrace, with views over the surrounding countryside.
Interior Description

The glass entrance door opens onto the beautiful and spacious open plan living room, with its stone walls and high ceiling.
- Comfortable sofas and armchairs are set around the wood burning stove, perfect for cooler evenings in mid season; a television, lamps and a coffee table complete this cosy corner
- A dining area with wooden table, bench and chairs provide inside eating space for up to 6 people
- A fully fitted kitchen area, with painted units, central island, electric cooker, fridge freezer, diswasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
From the living room a glass door leads out onto the wonderful wooden balcony, where you can eat al fresco at the wooden table and chairs whilst contemplating the surrounding countryside!
A steep staircase descends to the garden level where you will find:
- A master bedroom with double bed, bedside tables, lamps and storage space, and glass door leading out to the enclosed garden.
- A second bedroom with a high quality sofa bed (130cm) which can be accessed via the master bedroom, ideal for children; or accessed via the hallway and the communicating door can be closed assuring intimacy for both rooms. This room also benefits from a glass door giving access direct to the garden.
- A fully tiled shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet
WiFi internet connection throughout.

The enclosed garden, which can be accessed either via a wooden staircase descending from the balcony, or by the french doors opening from both bedrooms, comprises no fewer than three tables and chairs, in different spots. It is completely private, protected by the established shrubs, and enables you to soak up the sun, or relax in a shady corner.
The large garden and private pool are situated just across the country lane (no passing traffic). The pool measures 6.5 x 3m, and has sunloungers and parasols. A table and chairs are also available for relaxing meals in the large garden, and around the pool.
Private parking for 2 cars.
