This apartment style condo is wonderfully tucked into the village area. Situated between Porch, the Nashville Hot Chicken and Catfish restaurant, and a local favorite, Mullet Bay restaurant, is this fabulous abode high above Ocean Boulevard. You are located in the heart of all the hustle and bustle of city life, with the best shopping, parks, restaurants and the famous fishing pier at the end of Mallory Street. You don't even need to get in your car! Upon arriving at Ocean Tabby, there is one dedicated spot and free additional parking behind Porch.
Walking into the unit you are greeted by a large open space with the kitchen, living, and dining all in one large room. A huge, airy, full kitchen anchors the first level living area, where the sofa pulls out to a full bed. A full-size washer & dryer and half bath are also located on the main floor.
On the second floor- accessible via a spiral staircase or the balcony stairs, the left bedroom is a large room with two twin beds, two roll-away beds, and a full ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom down the hall has a queen size bed and a full ensuite bathroom as well. Beautiful double doors open up to an upper level balcony where you can sip iced tea or a glass of wine while enjoying the breeze or listening to village life. The unit comes with 2 rollaway beds that are fitted with memory foam twin mattresses, allowing for a total of 8 people to sleep comfortably in this cozy condo.

My family and I (2 adults, 3 children and 2 infants) stayed at this location and it is so convenient. You are able to walk to the pier, light house, shops and restaurants! We had everything we needed right their in town including beach access! It was such a great place to stay and the host made it so easy to get in touch if any issues or questions were to arise!

Ocean Tabby 2 is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beach and close to everything you’d want on St. Simons Island. The house is clean, well-equipped, and spacious enough for a comfortable family stay. The layout is great for gathering, and the outdoor space was a nice bonus.It’s an ideal spot for families with older kids or adults, but be aware that the circular staircase between levels might be tricky for toddlers or anyone with mobility concerns. Aside from that, everything was easy, relaxed, and enjoyable.Would definitely stay here again—great value, great spot!

This property is in a wonderful location. It is close to everything we love about St. Simons island and is tucked away so there is privacy from the busy street. The property was clean and the perfect size for my family of 5. I would definitely recommend it.
It was our first trip to SSI. The condo was walking distance to everything we wanted. We enjoyed relaxing on the upstairs deck during our downtime from our trips to the beach..The noise from the restaurant we shared a parking lot with did not bother us since it closed at 9 PM. We plan to book again.

Well appointed unit, comfortable stay. Between the hours of 4:30 - 5:30 am and 9:00-10:00 each night, there was enough noise to wake us from loading / unloading at The Porch restaurant next door. Other than that all went well.

The location was amazing and right in the heart of the village and next door to one of our favorite restaurants (we ended up eating 3 meals at Porch while we were there). Because it shares a parking lot with the restaurant, guests should expect a higher level of traffic and noise as restaurant employees are pretty regular back and forth in front of the property. The added traffic was a small price to pay for a great location, though.

My wife and I returned to St. Simons for our first anniversary because of the pace of life and the politeness of the people that live there. This VRBO was absolutely excellent. It was very clean, very well priced, the location was excellent. You have a reserved parking spot. You can walk to any number of amazing dining spots (Palmers village cafe, and Porch are our favorites for casual and crabdaddys for a more sit down atmosphere)
You can’t go wrong with a place like this.

The location was not ideal and we never heard from the property manager at all. Still, we enjoyed ourselves but would not stay here again.
We had a nice time at the condo. It was very clean and well maintained. The property management company did a great job with communication and information.
The stairs are a bit hard to manage with luggage so we used the purple steps to each bedroom for ease and convenience. In all the location and quality of place was worth the cost. Would like a bigger outdoor grill to use.
The location next to an ice-cream store was something my kids enjoyed. You can easily walk to many restaurants and stores. Really safe and friendly area.

The property was clean inside and spacious however it is located in the parking lot of a restaurant. There is a designated parking spot that is very narrow wedged between the fence and another stationary vehicle. The parking lot is shared with the restaurant so on busy nights we had people park in the designated spot and the parking lot was full. Every morning there is something going on typically a leaf blower at 8 am so if you're planning on trying to relax in the mornings this is not the place. Warm water for showers only last roughly 10 to 15 minutes so for a family it is difficult to get more than one shower in. The property manager did address the issue with someone parking in the designated spot quickly and was kind enough to give us a gift card but clearly this location is very busy, crowded, and loud since it is located in the parking lot of a restaurant.
This unit was located in the perfect location where we could walk to the downtown area and parks. It was perfectly sized for our party of 3 (two adults, one tween). The Wi-Fi worked great as did the television. None of the rooms felt cramped; their was plenty of space for each person as well as all our things.
Overall our stay was wonderful. Like other review mentioned there was noise from the restaurant but it was not worse than living in a busy apartment. I think adding some curtains to the windows could help this tremendously. My only complaint is that there is not a deadbolt on the main door.
Awesome location! Literally right at the Porch! Perfect for walking to the beach and restaurants, shopping. Very clean and nice. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Check-in/out super easy. Easy Reserved parking 1-spot so if you have more than 1 vehicle, you might need to plan.
Having read the previous reviews, we came equipped with white noise apps, which tremendously helped with the outside, restaurants noise in the early morning. This location cannot be beat for access to restaurants, parks, pier. We had a slight issue due to some storms and the management company responded right away. The only downside was sharing limited parking with the other unit and the restaurant. Overall, a great time at a good location.
