We are so grateful for your feedback and are thrilled that you enjoyed the home your stay was a great one. We are really looking forward to welcoming you back again soon!
We stayed during the week of New Year’s. It was perfect! Plenty of room for two families and our kids. The hot tub was a nice touch and so relaxing! The location is super convenient. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the ski resorts.
Beautiful Cabin and very easy to fine. Clean and nicely decorated. Disappointed that Hot Tub wasn’t warmed up to use on day we arrived. Took until next day to warm up but once warmed it was very nice and relaxing. Was looking forward to a couple games of pool but table is situated so you hit walls when trying to shoot. Also be careful of light over pool table as we hit our heads on it. No real way to arrange table where walls are not involved. Overall a very nice cabin. Convenient to Boone.

Thank you so much for sharing. Our staff is always thrilled when we hear that a guest has had a great stay and enjoyed the property. This has always been our greatest motivator. We always service the hot tubs between each rental, this includes chemically balancing the tub and where needed a complete drain and refill. In those instances it can take 4-6 hours for a complete reheat and possibly a bit more when the outside temps are extremely low as was the case this time. Your safety and comfort is always our top priority. We truly look forward to a revisit sooner rather than later.

Paid way to Much
Part of the charges was cleaning fee of one hundred and fifty five dollars. There was dust, bugs everywhere. The kitchen table chairs had sharp objects under cushion, which poked my kids when they sat down. Bugs in sinks of master bath. Heavy amount of dust on vents. Toilet stopped up every time we used it. Nails sticking up on stairs going to basement. Again my children would get stuck going up and down them. May I also note that there was an envelope for tipping the cleaning service. In all honesty the service wasn't complete before we got there so I felt no need in leaving a tip.

Not What We Expected
Upon arrival, there is a strong musty smell in the lower level. A lot of deferred maintenance evident with cabinets falling apart and filthy/stained carpeting in bedroom. Hot tub had been removed, so not as advertised. On the plus side, the property managers, Carolina Cabin Rentals were very helpful and responsive when we contacted them with issues. Location is good as it is close to Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock.

It was an overall very nice property. We were very disappointed that there was not a hot tub as advertised. It appeared that new decking was being installed and the tub was removed. That was one of the features that was most desired. There were a few things that needed attention and we reported those to the management company.
The only problem we had was lack of instruction for the fireplace and heaters and the hot water only lasted five minutes.

Great place and an awesome time!
Hi. We stay at a lot of rentals so it is always a toss up on what to expect. The place was nicely decorated for the Holiday's, great location, nicely put together house for our 2 families, well done all the way around. My only suggestion would be to take care of high dust and cob webs through out the house. We had such a good time that we didn't care but it was pretty bad. We would come back for sure. Thank you!
Fantastic location and amenities perfect for families looking to get away for a quick (or extended) trip. Host was very communicative and prompt in replies. Highly recommend this great cabin!
Property was very clean and decorated very cozy when we arrived. Our teenage girls loved the pool table downstairs, and they really enjoyed the downstair area that has some separation from the rest of the house. We had a fire in the fire pit almost every night which was really fun!!! Property close to lots of activities and shopping. Check in and out was simple and easy. We really enjoyed this property, and would like to come back in the summer months. Would highly recommend this cabin to people looking for a place close to tourist attractions but seeking a quiet and secluded area to stay.
Cabin was nice and plenty sufficient to get away for a few days. A few stores nearby made things easy without being so close that things felt bad. Hot tub was great and firepit was fun.

Excellent cabin
Loved the cabin. Nice quiet getaway. It was our anniversary weekend & even though we had to take teenagers with us ( due to Covid) we still enjoyed ourselves. Only suggestion add at least one more tv. One tv just isn't quite enough these days but other than that the cabin was perfect.

Wonderful time in a great subdivision
Our family had a great stay at Bearadise. Its conveniently located to Grandfather mountain, Otter Falls, Mystery Hill, and Blowing Rock. The subdivision also has a great little stream at the entrance that's perfect for playing on a lazy day. The cabin was well maintained and decorated for the fall season. My only complaint was we noticed a lot of cobwebs in the rafters/corners. But otherwise, a wonderful time. We will book again.

Bearadise
The house is really well located and has a wonderful porch. The kids loved the pool table and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The house was clean and well equipped except for the old tv and poor internet.
Unfortunately we arrived as it got dark and the entrance is on the lower level. The property was really damp and had a very stale smell downstairs. So much so that I was worried about the children sleeping in the damp downstairs bedroom.
Upstairs was much better although the second double bed rocked like a boat, the upstairs bedrooms were fine.
We contacted the agency to replace 7 bulbs that were not working on the second day and the additional lighting helped to brighten the rooms. They also blew the leaves from the porch as it was covered in leaves. There was a dehumidifier in the property which the technician set up for us for the downstairs and that did help to improve the air.
I would not like to stay In this house again and I would not recommend it to anyone.
It was not inexpensive and I am very disappointed with the quality of the accommodation considering the cost. I am not sure if this standard is typical for Carolina Cabins and I hope it is not. Carolina Cabins was recommended by a friend and I expect we were just unlucky with the house we chose.

Thanks Louise for taking the time to bring this to our attention. This home is split level and I'm sure that the recent rain we experienced from remnants of Hurricane Laura contributed to this stale smell. Your experience has been relayed to our QC teams and I am glad to say that after airing it out somewhat and some glorious days with low humidity that this problem has been resolved.

The following is not a review of Carolina Cabin Rentals. It only pertains to the property.
We were completely and utterly disappointed at our stay in Bearadise. There are so many things to write about. First, the pictures on the site are very misleading in that they make the space look much larger than it really is. The upstairs main area and kitchen are very cramped with little room to move.
Next, the entire cabin, and particularly the bottom floor, smelled musty and moldy. We lit candles non-stop to help break the smell. This is especially true in the downstairs bedroom with the bunk beds - the damp, moist smell is not good for children with allergies.
Other small issues: the main sofa is broken and extremely uncomfortable, some of the toilets did not work well, there were cobwebs throughout the inside of the house, the outdoor deck was messy and unkept, and more. In general, the property is old, tired and unkept.
We brought these issues to the attention of the rental company and they found a way to remedy the situation, which we greatly appreciated.
Nice little place close to Boone AND Linville and Grandfather mountain hiking. Hot tub is a nice addition too!

Review
The home worked out ok for us but had a musty smell in the lower level and cobwebs in the corners and on the walls of many of the rooms. Couch was broken and wouldn't recline on one side and a spring that pushed into you on the other side.
Pictures make it appear more remote and bigger than it is. But overall it was a decent place to stay for our purposes.

Great Cabin
Bearadise has all the amenities needed for a great vacation: great location, plenty of space, modern kitchen/appliances to prepare/eat your meals, hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, pool table, comfortable seating, big screen TV (great for movies/gaming), high speed internet, and even a washer/dryer. The time passed so quickly we wish we could have stayed longer. If you need a relaxing place to socially distance from the world during COVID-19, we highly recommend Bearadise.
The home is cozy and clean. We enjoyed using the hot tub, and the kids had fun playing pool. It is in a great location, close to Sugar Mountain, hikes, and lots of great restaurants.

Rustic and Cozy
Bearadise was a great location with plenty of room. The kitchen was very well stocked, with more than the regular kitchen equipment!
The pool table and hot tub were a great addition to the property and the family enjoyed them. I did read the review about the lighting by the hot tub on the deck and ended up taking a spare outdoor spotlight. Yes,it would have been too dark without it. We did call maintenance about a couple of issues that were resolved while we were there or hopefully before the next occupants. This was a short break for us before Christmas and we will return!
The cabin was nice and clean with only a few maintenance problems that were taken care of with no problems. The hot tub was amazing. The neighborhood was super quiet and easy to get to. I thought the “extra” rental fees were a little high but otherwise a nice stay.

Loved it!
We had the best time at this cabin! Great outdoor areas and clean. Updated kitchenware and appliances made cooking family meals a breeze. We also enjoyed the festive decor! The owners obviously take pride and good care of their home away from home. Would highly recommend!

Amazing Cabin
Bearadise is an awesome cabin! Very nicely decorated for fall. Easy access to Get 105! One of the cleanest cabins we have ever visited! We loved the deck space! The only recommendation I would have is some additional lighting on the end of the cabin were the hot tub is located! It was very dark & a little scary while in the hot tub! We had an amazing time at this cabin!
