About this property

3 bedroom cabin on the lake with indoor fireplace. Pet friendly.

This cabin is one out of 8 cabins situated on 15 acres of a lake front property resort in Autrain, Michigan. All cabins are a comfortable distance from each other. Three bedroom private cabin. Full kitchen and bathroom. Indoor fireplace. Outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic table. Cabin is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, pans, linens, paper towel and toilet paper. Kitchen also has coffee pot, filters, microwave, refrigerator, stove, toaster, and so much more.

Onsite coin operated laundry available.

There is an onsite camp store onsite with all your essentials including firewood, fire starter, ice cream, ice, soft drinks, snacks, coffee, pizza, camping gear and so much more. Please note, store is not open in the winter.

In the summer, guests have access to pontoon, kayak, canoe, stand up paddle board and fishing boat rentals. Snowmobile and ATV friendly. Plenty of room for parking vehicles and trailers.

Great location. Clean, warm, and cozy. We were greeted each morning with a beautiful sunrise over Lake Autrain and at least a dozen deer making their way to the lake. Plenty of parking for 2 trailers. Beds were so comfortable we asked Heather where she got them! We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed over 380 miles of riding in just 2 days. The snow and trails are awesome!

Old School UP Cool!

Very nice cabin with UP charm! Great view and plenty of parking. Has everything you need but bring cooking supplies (olive oil, seasonings, etc.) if you like to cook. Plenty of activities nearby. Went to the Eben Ice Caves and some local waterfalls. Great local pubs in Eben Junction and Chatham too! Excellent ice fishing right out the door!

Picture perfect

The owner was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Our cabin was gorgeous and had an amazing view of the AuTrain Lake. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We rent kayaks and petal boat. Easy to communicate. The general store on site had everything. The owner made three pizzas that tasted amazing. And the price was very affordable. The cabin was close to the sites we wanted to visit which made the vacation a better experience.

Spacious Cabin very clean

We booked a 3 bedroom 1 bath for a weekend, but at check in found we had been given a huge 5 bedroom 1 1/2 bath cabin. It was very clean and had been updated. Four of the bedrooms and all the bathrooms were upstairs, which was fine except there was no heat upstairs and the nights (early October) were chilly. The grounds were great, Lake Au Train is beautiful. There is a small playground, and plenty of things to do on site. We would happily stay here again.

Pictured Rocks cabin

We enjoyed our stay with a few exceptions. Cabin was cozy, adequate furnishings, large bedrooms, kitchen well supplied, lovely large wooden deck over the dock. However, whenever we baked or turned the space heater on the smoke alarm went off since it was located above the heater! Also shower handle fell off as soon as I turned it on, two lamps had burnt out bulbs which we didn’t notice till nighttime, tv remote batteries dead but those things were easily fixed by management the next morning. All in all a nice stay.

We had a great time in this property. The property is well located and looks much more beautiful than the picture. We had some amazing view from the rooms and also had fun doing camp fire and pontoon boat ride with the overall family. I would definitely like to visit again here. The property was very beautiful and had more rooms than we needed it. Loved the lake view! The staffs was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for anyone that needs a getaway from the city life for some peace and quiet.

Loved our visit!

We loved our stay at AuTrain Lake! It was peaceful and beautiful! The cabin is as you'd expect from the pictures and listing, except the living room is quite large. They had all types of TV channels (college football was watched) and the WiFi was strong! We loved the back deck for morning coffee and the quick drive into Munising and Marquette. The only concern was the low lumen light bulbs, but it made it quaint.

Antique cabin

My husband and I spent four nights in this amazing cabin with views of AuTrain Lake. We loved the history of the building and the grounds. It was very peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. The cabin was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy and kitchen well stocked. The only downfall was that the internet was very spotty but this would not deter us from staying again. Serenity a plenty.

Heather and Tom run an amazingly warm and wonderful community/resort. The cabin was good - perfect location overlooking Au Train lake. They have a very nice family atmosphere. You can rent Kayaks, Paddleboards, Jet Ski's and Pontoon boats. They also had an amazing Band followed by a fantastic fireworks display for July 4th. We enjoyed our trip!! I highly reccomend it!
