You are literally on Tomales Bay when you stay here. Two of our 4 nights, about an hour before sunset hundreds of birds, mostly cormorants gave us a show right off of the deck, diving and flying. Other times we got to watch pelicans repeatedly circle and dive. One morning an otter appeared. We hope to return.
This is our favorite spot to stay on Tomales Bay! The property is great and it's right near the Marshall Store. We also discovered a great restaurant in the Marconi Center that's just a few minutes away.
We loved this spot! Utterly charming cottage with a spectacular view. Kitchen has everything you need! We watched pelicans, terns, a seal or two and an otter(!) play in the water and we kayaked all over the bay. It was delightful in every way.
Our stay at Seamiest was so very comfortable with an amazing view of Tomales Bay. Loved hearing the water lapping at the shore. The house is beautifully designed and tastefully appointed - everything one needs.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The marketing is consistent with the conditions and everything was clean and nice. We will definitely book and stay at this exact property again in the future.
This lovely studio sits on piers right over lapping water. It's exactly as depicted: spacious, really well laid out, with a great deck and window seat to hang out on, fantastic views and good privacy. Cleanliness was excellent and the property is well cared for. From the managers I received the best “insider tips” on the region of any vacation property I’ve rented. I was happily surprised that the kitchen had REAL heavy-bottomed stainless steel pans, plenty of good utensils and dishes (though no baker). The other surprise was the how bright the stars and Milky Way could be at this elevation. One note: the advertised hot tub is on the grounds of the adjoining unit. I was able to use it only because that unit was empty. Very sweet place; I hope to return.

Very comfortable and charming, with beautiful views of the bay
Charming and rustic cottage with beautiful views of Tomales Bay. Has a very nautical feel. Lots of great hiking trails and kayaking spots nearby, but also a great place to just relax, enjoy the beautiful views, and listen to the waves lap against the shore. I've stayed here a few times and can't wait to go back!
It was great, cottage was peaceful and quiet. Off the deck I saw sea lions, jelly fish, a bat stingray, numerous sea birds and of course the magnificent sunsets !!
Very quaint and inviting! The views and layout provided a peaceful and restful stay. It provided all the amenities to make our stay affordable and comfortable. The suggestions and directions to visit local highlights was easy to review and quite convenient. Although if you chose to you could just stay in and enjoy the property all by itself.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. The view fThe kitchen was well-stocked with everything that we needed. The property was well-maintained and spotlessly clean. There is a world class Weber grille big enough to cook for a crowd. The wrap around
I love it

Peaceful cottage directly on the water. The furnishings are basic, but comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. Very close to Tony's seafood with great cioppino, and a 12 minute drive to Route One Bakery. Nice sunsets, unless the fog rolls in :) .
Amazing location for kayaking and a quiet respite from suburban life. checking in was like coming home. But the best part is this place is gorgeous and well appointed in every way. Someone really cares about this home. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the deck watching rays swim below us. and quiet evenings with the warmth of a fire.
Great time just looking out at the water of Tomales Bay. Comfortable accommodations in a really beautiful spot. A short walk from the Marshall Store should be enough to sell this property to anyone. The place could benefit from some nicer chairs to take in the fantastic views. While the window seat is great, the two wicker chairs just don't cut it.
this hideaway on the bay was EXACTLY what I needed - it's spacious and spotless - every single need is met - the water is beautiful and calm. birds hang out on the little dock the sunset, the fresh air and the peace and quiet is unmatched. thank you for thinking of every little thing and I for sure will be back. :)
occasional street noise otherwise it’s super quiet and peaceful. Both my husband and I are light sleepers but we slept through the night jsut fine. There’s nothing like waking up to the sound of water splashing against shore and the sunlight. The kitchen is small but mighty - don’t expect to cook a thanksgiving meal here tho. Ventilation is limited so plan ahead. Plenty amazing restaurants nearby. Our favorite is Tony’s for their big and juicy grilled oysters. Can’t wait for our next trip back!

A serene and comfy retreat!
This is such a great find and so comfortable in every way. I could have stayed a month! It is ideal for a solo retreat or a couple looking for a fabulous setting and privacy. Loved the warmth of the place overall and the surroundings cannot be beat. The only small glitch was that there was some work being done on the property next door which though not inhibitive, created some unexpected noise and presence. It is a short, delicious walk to enjoy Hog Island Oyster Company and a quick drive to Nick's Cove for dinner if you decide to escape from the adorable studio and kitchen.
I will definitely be back for a longer stay!
