Adorable Portland getaway on the Eastern Promenade

Lovely third-floor apartment on the East End, just steps from the glorious Eastern Promenade! Cozy and cute, this adorable spot resides in the neighborhood which boasts some of the best restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops in the city all within walking distance. On a quiet residential street, there is plenty of on-street parking. Downtown and the Old Port are about a 15-minute walk from the house.
Adjacent to the living room is a private deck. The kitchen and living room areas have a nice open floor plan with a skylight to let in lots of natural light. The cozy bedroom offers a peaceful view of the tree-lined street.
** Please note that the last few steps leading up to the apartment on the third floor are quite steep. **

Beautiful quiet safe neighborhood. Best of all walking distance to Portland Observatory, Old Port, Beach to take in the beautiful views of the beach and sailboats. Appreciated the Host placing cute notes around the apartment to assist with questions. She also provided great recommendations of restaurants and grocery store that were 5 min. walk.

Portland in not bashful about their Summertime hotel rates. This is a viable alternative. The Eastern Promenade is an enjoyable stroll during your stay. During Summer the Ocean views on the 3rd Floor are blocked by leafy trees. The stairs from Floor 2 to Floor 3 are SERIOUSLY Steep and short in width. Plan to have a hand available to use the sturdy banisters and avoid over imbibing while out on the town. I feel the apartment is ready for a paint refresh and the couch cover could use a wash or upgrade (the white cover had some stains.) Walking to Old Port was doable. The walk back is fine but includes a hill climb so consider the 20 Uber from downtown. I would stay again but for the price I paid albeit during high season, I must admit wanting the apartments maintenance to be better.

Nice place. Comfortably sleeps 2 and three if you have a friend willing to sleep on a roll-away or air mattress. Lots of stairs, like notable narrow attic stairs.

Perfect little apartment, perfect for a five day stay with my husband. The balcony was a lovely addition and the hosts were responsive and helpful. Great place to stay in a residential neighborhood in Portland. Beautiful 1 BR with nice decor. The stairs to the third floor were quite steep and narrow, difficult to get by if you are carrying bags or other items. The ceiling is quite low at some places in the apartment so may not be ideal for taller people. No vent in the bathroom and no wall mirror in front of the sink. There is a small mirror on the side. The kitchen was clean with all the essentials (cups, plates, utensils). Check in process was easy and host was easily reached. A little too far from downtown to walk, but the eastern promenade area was scenic and a nice area to walk around.

Cute getaway!

This little place is so cozy, clean, and in a great neighborhood within distance to the promenade. Sweet amenities too with a written welcome card, welcome snacks, and restroom necessities. Will definitely be back!
