We really enjoyed our time here. Clean, great area, and host was very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the Portland area.
Very cozy apartment and super convenient to Munjoy Hill. Walking distance to great dining options and a great coffee shop with Double Great. It was perfect and had everything we needed.
Great property for our 5 night stay in Portland. Super close for morning walks on the Eastern Promenade and afternoon walks to downtown. Check out the Front Room for a great meal.
Munjoy Hill house location was great for access to Portland and neighborhood restaurants & stores. We especially liked the Front Page restaurant. Although it rained almost the whole time we were there we found plenty to do in Portland and surrounding areas.
Great place to stay in Portland! The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance to local breweries and views.
The apartment was well equipped and the host goes the extra steps to make you feel welcome.
We were extremely happy with everything during our stay. Jennifer was very helpful and the apartment is lovely--light and sunny and scrupulously clean. The furniture is all comfortable and the bed in the master bedroom is excellent.
This beautiful, spacious 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for a long weekend getaway with our toddler. Well maintained and cleaner than my house! Street parking was easy. Quick walk up and down hills to breweries, playground, basketball and tennis courts, and cafes!
The location was amazing. We walked most places, but there was so much to do within a short drive, as well. The apartment was very clean, beds comfortable, and amenities plenty. I traveled with my mom and sister on this trip. Now, I'm trying to convince my husband we need to visit Portland. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay here. Perfect spot!
We really enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to walk to the Eastern Promenade. The beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Very cute and cozy
There are stairs to enter the building for anyone with mobility issues. If you are unfamiliar with older buildings, the radiators do make some noise while heating in the winter.
A group of 3 girls stayed at this charming apartment for 3 nights. We were able to walk to everything in downtown Portland using the promenade walkway which was very safe even after dark. Jennifer was a great host, even providing K cups for the Keurig. Allagash Brewery is 15 mins away by car and worth the visit. There are two other breweries at the same location as Allagash.
My wife and i loved our stay on Munjoy Hill. The location was easy to find and within walking distance of numerous restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops. It is in a great neighborhood with access to the east Portland Promenade only a half block away. The accomodations were nice as well with only one issue worth mentioning. Seating in the front room was not very comfortable. That being said, i would come back to this apartment in a heartbeat if i visit Portland again.
This was a super charming, spacious clean apartment located just a block up from the waterfront in the Eastern side of Portland. It was perfect for my husband, myself and two teenagers. We were within a short walking distance to a few excellent neighborhood restaurants- The Front Room and Jing Yan Tavern, plus a few markets. It’s walkable but quite a distance to the downtown area- put on those walking shoes! There was so much to explore and see! If you want a more quiet place to stay, this is a nice option.

We enjoyed our stay near the Eastern Promenade. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, just a 5-minute car ride from downtown. The apartment was spacious enough for all four of us—three adults and one child—to have our own bed. The sofa bed was comfortable, with an extra foam mattress topper. The queen bed was not as comfortable due to the edges being rounded. There was everything needed for making meals, and a large dining table for four people. The very small bathroom is older, as this is a heritage home, but it was very manageable. The space was very very clean. I enjoyed that the space did not smell of perfumey cleaners, as I react easily to strong scents. That said, there is a noticeable old house smell upon entering. Jennifer our host was attentive to our needs and quick to reply when we needed anything. There was ample parking. I recommend using Uber for going downtown, as parking is very expensive in Portland.
There are really only two beds, one of those being a daybed that has a pullout, and then multiple couches double as mattresses in other living spaces. It worked well for our family. We needed quick use of the dryer and the host responded immediately with the location and instructions. The neighborhood is great, the sunset at the top of the street that’s a short walk can’t be over exaggerated. Only negative is that it’s noisy if there are upstairs guests, but it’s a solid little spot.
Was perfect for our short stay in Portland. Check in and communication couldn’t have been easier. Instructions were all clear and it’s a fully stocked apartment. Was great for our family of 5!
A little older charming property. Well appointed. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy rooms and furniture. Washer and dryer was listed in the amenities but did not see it in the unit.
We found this beautifully decorated home absolutely spotless! The furnishings were comfortable & homey. The beds were super comfy! It was very easy to walk to many restaurants & tours from the apartment and parking was plentiful. You won’t be disappointed… we highly recommend
L'appartement est tres fonctionnel bien situé et la communication avec les hôtes est efficace

About the host

I've moved home after living on the West Coast for 12 years. Currently residing on the beautiful East End, it is such a pleasure to have discovered that over the last decade or so this neighborhood has grown into a wonderfully diverse, safe and welcoming community. Plus, I love being able to walk to brunch and to the market! I desperately missed those outings, living in the car-centered culture of Los Angeles. It's been a wonderful experience meeting and hosting people from all over the world who are visiting Portland!
