With private parking, contactless entry, and a beach car pass, relax here! A quaint grocery store (.6 miles) nearby sells everything you need to get away and stay safe! Weekly Rentals Preferred! Enjoy the upper unit of this duplex situated directly across from the Atlantic Ocean and walking distance to Potter Pond. The best Rhode Island fishing and surfing is right at your fingertips and you can smell the ocean in the air. You can walk to the steps of East Matunuck State Beach (.7 miles) or South Kingstown Town Beach (.4 miles) with multiple other beaches a short drive away. If you would like to drive to the Town Beach, guests also have access to a beach pass for their car! Make your vacation as peaceful or as busy, as you desire. This place is great for couples or families to hang out on your own private back deck, watching the sunset, grilling a meal, or soaking in the sunshine. Experience the active nightlife just around the corner with some live music or walk to get an ice cream sundae. Matunuck truly is an enjoyable place. World famous Newport, RI or the Block Island ferry is within a half hour drive. This place is a perfect beach getaway! In addition to the 2 bedrooms and full bathroom, guests also have access the outside shower, lawn games upon request, and provided beach gear. Living room is spacious with two futon beds. The kitchen includes basic needs with a sliding glass door attached to a full-size deck and grill that includes a water view. Guests will have access to at least two parking spots. Street parking is nearby, if needed.

Excellent Beach Getaway

Had a fantastic week staying here! Great location! Close to local restaurants, ice cream, beaches and the local theater. A town beach pass is provided. Very quiet and it has a beautiful deck with a table and chairs and lounge chairs. The hosts were very easy to work with and very accommodating! Highly recommend this rental.

Awesome summer getaway! Amazing location, steps to The Pub and Ocean Mist. A short walk to ice cream and a beautiful beach. Owners are on property but not intrusive at all. The deck and outside shower are awesome!

My family and I went on a day trip to Block Island. We decided to rent Mark’s VRBO to avoid having to make a long drive home. The location was great, being so close to Point Judith. "A Stone"s Throw"....

Wonderful. Just an overnight , so didn't need much.The apt was clean, cozy, airy. Keys were right where the owner said they'd be. A map or some local directions of where & how to access beach ,for swimming, or for strolling, would have been helpful.

Prime Location

We enjoyed our second year at this property for our week at the beach. The location is perfect. We love the proximity to the ocean. Walking in the early morning is lovely. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and live in the lower unit. The furniture is basic but does the job. The beds were comfortable (new mattress since last year!) and the towels and sheets provided were fine. The kitchen has adequate pots and pans but no large pot for pasta or lobster so keep that in mind. The appliances are in good condition and it's convenient having a washer/dryer in the unit.

A clean and quiet place, not far from the beach! We only stayed for one night but wish we could've stayed longer! Beautiful neighborhood to explore and Kingstown Beach was nice as well. Despite it being busy on the main street, very quiet and peaceful at the house. We really liked the large deck too!

Seriously, walk to it all

Mark and Julie's place is a simple, clean two bedroom upper level of a house. In and out is easy. Walk to everything. No need to ever get in your car. I could walk with surfboard or paddle board to the Deep Hole surf spot or just off the Ocean Mist. In wall AC kept main living room and kitchen cool. Bedrooms were a bit warm, in case there's a heat wave. Definitely recommend.
