This is a renovated 3 bedroom, 2 full bath (plus an enclosed outside shower) home with all the comforts for your family to enjoy. A new larger kitchen with all new appliances, including a dishwasher. Very clean home for your family to enjoy ! The comforts of this home make it the perfect place for a family vacation.

The Cape May Villas is just minutes to Cape May beaches or the Wildwoods for your enjoyment. You can also just relax steps away at the Delaware Bay beach under your umbrella, and enjoy the ocean breeze. After a hot day at the beach your family can come back and cool off in the pool with its own deck. Walk to our Sunset Beach, just steps from our home and enjoy incredible sunsets each night, or take a day off from the beach and enjoy the calm bay beach.

The pool is fully enclosed with a safety fence and a self closing safety gate. The yard has plenty of room for your children to play in the fenced in yard, and to your relaxing experience. Own a kayak, sunfish or canoe, bring it with you, as you are steps from the bay, with a beautiful beach.

For birders you are steps from the Delaware Bay beach, which is a treasure chest for bird watching, and minutes to the Cape May Bird Observatory. You are also minutes away from the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor and the Cape May County Zoo.

Cook out on the grill, have dinner pool side, then walk down to the bay beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset!! We are 2 houses away from the the bay beach. This home is situated on a quiet street where you can enjoy bike riding any time of the day.

If you need linens and towels for your stay, I can provide names of a local vendor. Pillows and blankets are provided for all the beds.

Girls weekend

The home was beautiful and in a great neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to the beach that was only a short distance away. The location made it easy to get to Cape May and the boardwalk in Wildwood. Would recommend and stay again

The photo of the bay beach is only intended to show the bay beach feature that you walk down to see, not as the view from our home. Cozy Cottage near the ocean!

Rick was great to work with. His house was perfect for our family weekend gathering. Though it was too cool to swim in the ocean (stayed 3rd weekend of April), we did go for a walk on the beach at the end of the road (less than 5 min. walk). So beautiful! The house was clean and beautifully decorated and with all amenities as stated in the property description.

Great Property - Clean & Nice Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We’ve been renting in Villas for the past couple of years and this has been our favorite property by far. The house was very clean and well set up (nicely decorated with not too much clutter and space to put belongings throughout the house). The pool was nice and we also enjoyed the fenced yard that gave our kids a place to safely play and run around. Very close to the bay. Rick, the owner, was also very responsive and great to work with.

Beautiful week!

We couldn't have asked for a better week. The house was very comfortable with a lot of room. The kids spent countless hours in the pool (as did the adults). The location was perfect between Wildwood and Cape May. Boardwalk, water park, beach, sunsets restaurants. Everything within a few minutes. Another plus, no rain all week. It was a great week with the grand-kids!

Best one yet!

We have rented different beach houses every summer for over 10 years and this was the best one yet! The description on VRBO is 100% accurate. The location of the property is perfect as you are 20 minutes away from Cape May and Wildwood. Any store you would need, drug store, grocery store, liquor store, deli, take out, etc. is just minutes away. The proximity to the bay beach is perfect and the sunsets are absolutely amazing. The house was immaculate and so cozy. Rick was wonderful to work with. He is very responsive and organized. Can’t wait to rent this house again!

Best little shore house by the Bay!!

My family and I stayed in this beautifully appointed house to meet up with our cousins from NJ who also had a shore house for the week!! We loved everything about this house and it’s location! It’s a nice quiet neighborhood with friendly people, we were one short block walk to the beach where we caught some amazing sunsets! We were a short drive to Wildwood and the boardwalk where we always have a blast! It was easy as pie to check in and check out, the owners have a great manual that helps with everything. The pool was great and thankfully the weather cooperated till our last day and we got to enjoy it!! There were 6 of us that stayed in the house and it was just perfect for all 6 of us! The kitchen was great and the whole place was very clean!! We will definitely keep this house in mind for our next family reunion vacation!!

Lovely home!

We had a really wonderful week at this home! The house is very cute and super clean. The pool was so much fun to have and the kids enjoyed playing in the fenced in yard as well. It is SO close to the bay beach. The bay was a little weird during certain times of the day - it got really muddy... not sure if that's always the case in this location. There were also a TON of horseshoe crabs - dead and alive. Again, not sure if that's the norm or if something weird was going on with the weather, etc. But the house exceeded our expectations and our whole family really enjoyed our stay! We were so sad to leave! Thanks!!

Liv, Glad our home exceeded expectations, that is always a great thing ! The bay is a rustic natural habitat for migratory and local birds, some of the birds come from South America and stop at our beaches to feast on the horseshoe crab eggs. Our beaches are their half way point to the North Pole. The tidal swings can be 4-6 feet between high tide and low tide, depending on the moon (Full Moon's) bring the highest tidal swing, a very high and very extreme low tides. It is during the extreme low tides more of the bay bottom is exposed, and further out the sand transitions to a mud base. Thanks again and we hope to have you back again. Sincerely, Rick

Perfect House and Location for Families

My family stayed here for about a week. Let me say as others have noted, the photos do not show what a gem this place is. It was very clean and organized. The owner's have a manual for everything you need to know about the house itself and the surrounding areas including brochures for attractions and menus for local restaurants. I was quite impressed with how orderly it was. The yard and pool were bonus for us since we have a child. There were days he didn't want to go to the beach and instead opted to swim in the pool. Wildwood and Historic Cape May are a 15 minute drive from this location. The bay beach is half a block away. The zoo is about a 20 minute drive. We will definitely be coming back for years to come. The owners were great to deal with. I highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to be in the direct mix and willing to drive a little.

Delight on the Delaware Bay

This was my second stay on Walnut. I was here 5 years ago and always wanted to return. The location can’t be beat—a block from the bay. There are several restaurants in a 10-minute radius. The house is nicely appointed. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, pots, pans, and dishes (salt, pepper, and Old Bay, no sugar), as well as a small rolling island and two coffee makers. Beds are comfortable, on the hard side but not too hard. The couch is comfy and accommodating. The TV isn’t too difficult to figure out, as some nowadays are! The pool is a great feature, though we didn’t use it. The deck is roomy, and the furnishings there and on the patio are sturdy and welcoming. Our only issue: The bath off the kitchen has a tub with no grab points/bars and no in-tub, nonslip surface. I would have been happy to bring a rubber mat along, but it wasn’t listed under Items to Bring, so I didn’t realize. The en-suite bathtub has shelves that you can grab if you need to. But the shelves in the first bath are angled underneath and not grabbable.

Lovely house with swimming pool and a short walk to beach!

This house, pool, deck and plenty of grassy back yard to play in were ideal for us and my young grandchildren. The house is well-equipped and the layout where the living room is away from the bedrooms is great. We had perfect weather and can highly recommend this quiet neighbourhood and the beach sunsets! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect for little ones. The house was a 2 minute walk from the bay. We spent our days lounging around. It was a 20 min drive to Cape May Zoo and a 20 min drive to Wildwood boardwalk. The neighborhood is quiet but there’s restaurants, Wawa, and a crab place all nearby.

Why they chose this property

We have owned this home since 2021, and bought it because of the quiet neighborhood and its proximity to the bay beach. This location offers the best of all worlds, whether you like walks on the beach in the morning, flying kites with the your children during the day, or watching the sunsets at night. What we discovered was each night at our beach, you will see the most unique sunsets you will ever see on the East Coast. Each night, the bay, sun and sky provide a different show for its visitors. In Cape May they call it 'Sunset Beach', and in the Villas, we call it 'Our Best Kept Secret'.

What makes this property unique

This is a very quiet neighborhood where the kids enjoy riding their bikes and going down to the bay beach and flying kits, digging in the sand, and watching the awesome sunsets.
