Our 100+ year old home was completely renovated from the ground up in 2018 and is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

We are tucked away in a safe, family friendly, & quiet neighborhood just outside of New Orleans. The French Quarter and the New Orleans Convention Center are both a quick drive away.

Located in Lovely Historic Old Arabi just 2 blocks from the Mississippi River & 4.1 miles from the French Quarter. Take a blanket and walk up to the levee where you can see beautiful sunsets just over the city of New Orleans, Natchez Steamboat, Creole Queen, & ships chugging down the Mighty Mississippi River! Just bring your bag and come enjoy this safe & quiet little town in a beautifully restored historic home!

Kitchen features stainless appliances to include microwave, gas stove top with a grilling option & oven, beautiful spacious refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker & filtered water option, granite counter tops, and island/bar that fits 2 additional seatings. You can cook a full meal in this well equipped kitchen.

Provided for you: Coffee pot with coffee, creamer, sweetener, spices for cooking, blender, hand mixer, 4-slotted toaster, iron & ironing board, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, makeup wipes (ladies, please use!), laundry detergent. A hair dryer is in both bathrooms. You may find a few extras not mentioned such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash/bar soap, body lotion, etc.

The living room and each bedroom has a smart TV High Speed WiFi.

Business ready with a desk located in the Master Bedroom. Work away from the office in a quiet, professional atmosphere while the rest of your party enjoys our spacious home.

This home can sleep 8 guests comfortably; 10 if you’d like to use the queen air mattress that is available.

1 King Bedroom with master bathroom suite with a double sink & vanity. After a full day of exploring The Big Easy, you may relax in the antique claw foot tub or separate stand up glass enclosed shower. Either way, you’ll surely enjoy this master bathroom! The extremely spacious walk-in closet is a great area to store your belongings while you enjoy the rest of this beautiful home.

2 Queen Bedrooms with shared hall bathroom. The bathroom has an antique claw foot tub for a luxurious bath or maybe you’d want to enjoy it as a shower. Either way, you’re covered!

1 queen size Sofa Bed in living room.

1 powder room that sits between the living & kitchen area . Everyone will feel so comfortable in this beautiful home!

A sitting/reading area is located just off the kitchen for a little YOU time.

A queen sized air mattress is available if you’d like to sleep 10 guests.

If you have a vehicle, you’ll enjoy our large driveway that can fit 3 vehicles comfortably. Extra parking on the street is available.

Our actual stay was Tues March 3 - Wed March 11. This property was everything and more than the pictures and description. The home was very clean and stocked with everything needed for a vacation. We felt very comfortable and at home. It was very easy to commutate with Laurie to ask questions. We had no problems during our stay. The French Quarter is very close. But we had a car so it was easy to get around. One of our favorites is Gerald's Donuts just a block away. There is a Walmart, Chase Bank, Starbucks, 7Brew, and may other fast food restaurants close by.. We hope we can stay again soon. Thank you Laurie for a great stay.

This home is absolutely beautiful! We felt extremely safe and there was plenty of room for eight of us. It is a short drive to downtown New Orleans and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Laurie had coffee and everything needed if you wanted to cook. I highly recommend this property!

Great safe location

Stayed here with a large group for a nearby dance competition. It was only about a 5-8 minute drive away and the house was in a very safe neighborhood. It was a little noisy outside but that’s probably inescapable in the New Orleans area. Definitely would stay here again

My family stayed here while in town for a visit. I wanted something close by and nice for them and this checked the boxes. This house is absolutely beautiful, has amazing amenities, and my family said the beds were very comfortable. The coded door locks made it easy for us to come and go. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking large family meals. We will definitely be booking here again next time my family is in town.

Perfect stay

My friends and I went to New Orleans for the 4th of July weekend and we drove down. Laurie (the host) was always so prompt with her replies and was so helpful throughout the entire process. The stay was perfect. It was very clean, spacious and the location is perfect if you want to drive into town for all the fun and then enjoy the quiet back home. We had no issues our whole trip, so it's a definite 5 star rating!

Thank you for your interest in our property in 441 Angela Street. We bought this home because of the safe location for our family. We rent it out so that you too can go enjoy the city of New Orleans but come home to a SAFE quiet neighborhood. Historical Old Arabi is located right outside of the Orleans Parish (county) line. The French Quarter is just 4.5 miles away!

Why they chose this property

I grew up here and know how amazing it is to be close enough to the city but can go home to a safe and quiet home. The home is newly remodeled & very well insulated. It has all original hardwood floors throughout. EVERYTHING in the home is brand new! It was remodeled from the bottom up! Absolutely gorgeous!

This home is definitely well built and stands above any home in the neighborhood. It's unique in that it's completely renovated!
