About this property

Pono Kai Resort- 1 Bedroom Garden View

Our 1 Bedroom Garden View condo has a fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom. The bedroom has a Queen size bed. There is also a pull out queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Very spacious units fully stocked with linens, towels, starter soap and coffee kits, all kitchen utilities and appliances. We manage several condos at Pono Kai and guarantee unit size and view, not specific building or floor.

The resort is located in the historic town of Kapaa, Kauai. You can catch the sunrise in the morning over the Pacific Ocean or even see whales during migrating season. The resort is within walking distance of restaurants, boutiques, shopping and grocery stores.

The bathroom is furnished with starter soap, shampoo and conditioner, along with a hair dryer. There is an iron and ironing board within the unit as well. Towels can be exchanged (dirty for clean).

The Pono Kai Resort has many amenities on site. Tennis and pickleball, basketball, exercise room, shuffle board, cornhole, horse shoes, putting greens, croquet court, board games, just to name a few. You can rent bicycles within walking distance and we are located within 5 minutes from all water activities; canoeing, kayaking, surfing, etc...

There are BBQ's located throughout the resort and coin laundry facilities located within each building. There are picnic tables throughout the resort and a fire pit to enjoy.

The Pono Kai is a great resort where you can truly relax and enjoy all that the Garden island of Kauai has to offer. Come enjoy your stay with us...

Fabulous views

We stayed in E105, the accommodations were great. Waking distance to local shops, restaurants and coffee. Fabulous views and a nice walking path along the beach.

always a good visit

We return to Pono Kai because the condos are clean and well tended to. The staff is lovely and attentive and the location is perfect for island travels. But the best part is waking up every day and walking the trail for miles right outside our door!

Conveniently located oceanfront condo with all the amenities.

Central location of the condo allows visiting the island in any direction. We stayed in E204 and had an ocean view. Walking pass runs along the beach right by the condo for miles. We used the pool, hot tub and sauna. Loved the amenities and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to have an access to a community room after checking out, since we had a late flight home. I would definitely stay in Pono Kai on my return trip.
