It is a really nice and cozy cabin that I’d love to return to if ever in the area again. It is very spacious and the three of us had more room than we needed. It was really hot during our stay and I was grateful for the ac unit in one of the bedrooms
Nice clean place all to yourself. A bit warm when the temperature is over 85 but im sure its not that warm very often. The evenings cool off nicely. The road down to the cabin has a bunch of curves so don't be in a hurry. But it is worth the drive. Will book again.
Clean property and amazing stay! Communication with property manager was spotty but the property is just what my family needed. Would still book again.
This cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle. Not too far from Sequoia/Kings Canyon, which we explored the two days we were here.
Rustic charming base camp for exploring the National Parks. Quiet, great location, and perfect for relaxing. Hosts provided great info pre check-in. Watch for quail in the evening as they cross the drive.
It's a great cozy place and good backyard. Everything was as described so no surprises. Cheyenne was very responsive. There are no cellphone signals so WiFi was a saver to communicate with Cheyenne . Will definitely recommend.

Needs more repairs. Has a nice bathroom but the rest needs work. Only one window unit to the entire cabin.no blinds or curtins in the living room. To many extentions cords for A/C, fans, appliances. Front steps can be tricky.

The cabin was clean and cozy. Location was about 8 miles from the Kings Canyon entrance. For the price, it was a good choice. There is internet available, but no cell coverage within miles and no TV. We had planned on eating dinner at the Pinehurst Lodge (not an actual lodge, only a restaurant), but it was closed. The closest restaurant or market was 30 minutes away. Would highly recommend bringing any food with you, which we did not. Went to bed hungry. This place is very isolated. While only 8 miles from the park entrance, the roads are very winding and you can only go about 10 to 20 mph, so it takes a while. I would not recommend trying to find this place after dark. My recommendations to the owner are to provide a couple of smart TV's to access through the internet, simplify the directions to the cabin and how to access the keypad lock (they were very confusing), do a better job of warning visitors how isolated this cabin is and to come prepared, and hem the curtains that are used to separate the rooms (the curtains were about 12" too long and created a tripping hazard). Overall, if properly prepared, this cabin is good for a night or two. There are really no outdoor activities near by, no services, no food, no gas. It's just a step up from camping. I can see why many people would enjoy the peace and serenity of staying here. The stars at night were incredible. The cabin was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Just come prepared!
We were disappointed in the cabin but managed to enjoy our trip to the area. The cabin was clean with the exception of dust, good bathroom but expect low water pressure in shower and take bar soap if that is your preference, good air conditioner but you cannot open the windows (stuck shut or no screens), a nice front porch but lots of insects when we visited, the bedroom ceiling is 6' high so not made for tall guests, the bed is SUPER firm, if you plan to cook, bring your spices, foil and storage containers, there is a large extension cord running across the bedroom floor to run the AC, test the smoke detector (one working, one on table with dead batteries), some fixtures with exposed lightbulbs and no lamps in living room, nice stained glass in front room but no curtains on two big windows that face the road. The front door had a deadbolt but both the front and back doors did not seem adequate for security. No personal touches in this cabin as we have experienced in many other rentals. Be aware, no motels or hotels in this area if you decide not to stay.
Family of four. Spent three nights in the house. It is a short drive to Kings Canyon and a little further from Sequoia. We visited both. Listing has no kitchen photos but there is one with basics including stove, pots, pans utensils and basic cookware & dinner ware. Nearest gas & groceries seemed to be about 20 miles away so come prepared. There is a small general store & burger joint walking distance and it’s fabulous. Neighbors were super kind to us. We had a great experience.
Great location, sweet little cabin - perfect for relaxing and unwinding
We really enjoyed our stay and Cheyenne was very responsive. The cabin was super clean and cute. We appreciated the (seemingly) brand new bathroom, too! We went down the street to the local restaurant, which was great. The location was perfect - just a bit outside of Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. We would definitely stay again.
We had a very comfy stay! Overall clean, centrally located to Kings Canyon and Sequoias. Grilled outside and relaxed on the patio! Stars look incredible from this spot!
Nice stay. Housekeeping prior to our arrival could have been more thorough. Trash can in kitchen from previous guests had not been emptied. Beds were unmade. Were the sheets clean? I’m sure hope so! Otherwise stay was fine.

We are so sorry for the issues during your stay and apologize for the housekeeping issues that were missed.
This property was very comfortable and well appointed - some of the pictures in the listing are older and don’t give it justice. It was clean, nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and a nicely stocked kitchen. Short drive up to Kings Canyon National Park. Very satisfied!
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin when visiting sequoia and King’s canyon on our way to Yosemite. The accommodations were very clean and cozy. We would love to come back!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this cabin, it had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathroom and we made use of the plug in heaters since we weren't sure how to use the wooden stove. The property itself is cute and was a short drive away from the national parks which was a big plus for us. The beds had enough blankets to keep us warm at night.
Close proximity to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. 20 min drive to Natl Park entrance. We very much enjoyed visiting the parks. Amenities are in good condition. Cabin is in overall good condition. Our stay was during extreme heat wave in California (Pinehurst in upper 90s) and cabin was hot when we returned from our daytime activities visiting the parks. Although not mentioned in the VRBO description, the master bedroom did have a window AC. We probably would have enjoyed the cabin more during cooler weather (i.e. fall or spring). The host was very responsive to all our questions. Overall we would recommend staying at this cabin for visiting the parks.
This is a great property to stay at if you are exploring Kings Canyon as it is just a short drive up the hill to the entrance gate. The cabin is exactly as presented although they should remove the photo with the old green living room furniture as the new furniture is much nicer. This was a quick stay for us on our way to another adventure but we will definitely come back to this property for a longer stay - maybe in the winter!
