Boys ski trip

Staying at this condo is a highlight for our guys trip. The ski hill is amazing and this condo makes everything easy. It’s clean, well stocked and comfortable with great views.We will book again

Boys ski trip

We’ve been booking this property every year for the past 7 years. The ski in/ski out access is perfect. Lots of room and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We will continue to book this property.

Cedars Hideout

Joe, your place is amazing. Top floor was perfect for our group of 11 to relax after days of touring around Yoho and Banff National parks. The views from inside and the hot tub on the deck were amazing. Rooms were a good size and the place was very clean! We have already had discussions about coming back in the winter. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous mountian home with us!

Outstanding stay and experience at KHMR

We had a fantastic stay at this property and it was a great experience from booking to check in to check out. This is a very beautiful and comfortable space for a family with so many amenities and tons of thoughtful details throughout the home. Great access to skiing and the skiing was fabulous. We hope to return.

Golden Getaway

We had a wonderful week in this well appointed house. Close to amenities / hiking / Kicking Horse ski resort but away from the crowds, we lacked for nothing. Joe was responsive and helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing mountain accommodation

A group of us stayed at Joe's beautiful accommodation for a boys mountain bike weekend. Joe was an amazing host from the booking and check in and even helped us make sure we could see the Oilers win game 6! The place had everything and more as advertised, beautiful views from the hot tub and very comfortable sleeping arrangements for all that were on the trip. The garage was awesome to be able to store our bikes without worry. Thank you Joe for your exceptional hospitality and we look forward to coming back again!

Family ski trip to Kicking Horse

We can’t speak highly enough about this property!! The home was quite spacious for a group of 10, extremely clean and decorated very nicely. The kitchen was also incredibly well stocked. And the owner was so kind, always available for questions and took great care to make sure we had a superb vacation. We will definitely return!

Golden Ski Weekend

The cold prevented us from skiing but we loved our stay nonetheless. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, the living space and open kitchen for games and fun. Joe was an exceptional host. Thank you!

Amazing Property

This property is amazing! The views are beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked with supplies to make your own meals. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Joe was very great and communication was easy. We enjoyed our week stay at Kicking Horse!

Just like home

We spend Family Day Long weekend at this gorgeous place. It's new and had everything we needed. Loved the 2 couches in the main living area as there was always plenty of room for all of us. We also slept like babies in the most comfortable beds! Joe was always available and very quick to answer any messages. Will absolutly come back!

Great weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time. The house has nice decor, setup and very spacious. My favourite place was the kitchen and the dinning area as I was able to prepared special meals for the whole group. I have everything I need to cook and set-up for. fancy meal. The kids enjoy the bunkbeds room and the jacuzzi. It’s close enough to walk to the resort to do some site seeing and hiking. The place is just perfect for our 3 families. We’ll sure love to stay again someday.

Wonderful house with everything you need.

My family and friends stayed at Joe’s property in the summer, and it was absolutely amazing. Joe was very helpful in our check in as well as making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The house is meticulously clean and well stocked with everything you would need, including video games, board games and an air hockey table. We had kids ages 1yr - 15yr and the house was ideal for all age ranges. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cooking equipment, and seasoning for all your meals. And the beds! They are so comfortable!! I would highly recommend staying here, and will hopefully be back in the future.

Wonderful vacation home

We throughly enjoyed our stay at kicking horse! The town of golden was a perfect location to get to all the local attractions and the town itself was full of good food and even nicer people. The brewery at the bottom of the hill, whitetooth was a great place to stop on the way home for a cold beer after a day exploring in the mountains. The house was the perfect setting for our two couples to spend the week in Golden/banff area. It was a fully stocked kitchen with all the spices and cooking utensils we needed. Tons of towels for our hot tubbing! The beds were incredibly comfortable to recover from our long hikes. The hosts were so easy to contact and suggested tons of activities and local food to try. Don’t skip the truffle pigs in Field. And the boot warmer was perfect for our sweaty hiking boots. Golfed at the golden country club which was also a highlight! Would love to come back again for ski season!

Kicking horse

Joe was very friendly and communicated often. He resolved any challenges we had promptly his place is beautiful and the hot tub was especially welcome after long days of hiking. Only thing you need to be aware of is that Golden is an hour to 90 minutes from many of the hikes we wanted to do and there is construction on hwy1 right east of golden. That road is shut down from 10p to 7 am Monday through Friday. We were still able to make our 0830 show times for lake O’Hara and our river running trip. There is a ton to do in and around Golden like the gondola and the sky bridge, but we had made other plans before arriving We had a blast and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Must be close to heaven up here!

We’ve stayed in many places over the years with our adult children and found this property to be a splendid place for family vacation. Yes, it’s a bit further from Banff but it offers a great value within proximity of some of the most beautiful places on earth. Joe was the consummate host, offering great advice for places to visit in the area. The resort area has great advantages with the Via Ferrata and the mountains are more majestic than you can imagine. The house is loaded with everything you need, including a full kitchen. We liked all the space in the house for our group of 10 and we especially liked the shared living and dining space. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Summer Vacation in Golden, BC

The host and house exceeded our expectations. The location had an amazing view of the mountains and a short drive to town. The house was super clean and was stocked with all of the necessary amenities. The host informed us of fires in the surrounding areas and checked in on us to ensure we were comfortable. I would rate this a 10/10.

Perfect Getaway

We were a group of 10 (four adults and six children) and this was the perfect place for our summer vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone, especially the bunk bed room with all double beds. The other bedrooms were spacious and had everything one would need (including hair dryers). The owner responded to questions we had quickly. Check-in was seamless. We would definitely stay here again, summer or winter.

Kicking Horse Paradise

Our group has been doing an annual trip to the Kicking Horse for eleven years and this was the first time we have stayed at this condo. It had everything we needed and more, great space, fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds with lux bed linens. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. Joe our host was fantastic with communication and answering any questions. We will be back!
