This is a charming traditional island home, that sleeps up to 7 people, and is conveniently located within Historic Downtown Chincoteague, and offers easy walking to gift shops, galleries, restaurants, grocery stores, churches, the library, carnival grounds, Robert Reed Downtown Park, the movie theater, boating, fishing and much more. On the first floor you will find the kitchen, dining room, living room, porch, half bath, and full washer/dryer. The second floor offers 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom with a king bed, the 2nd bedroom with 2 double beds, and the 3rd bedroom with a twin. There is also a full bath on the second floor. This home is cooled with window units, and offers wifi internet for those that may need to work while on vacation. My Tern has a NO SMOKING and a NO PETS policy. Please bring your own linens for 1 King, 2 Double Beds, and 1 Twin Bed. We ask that you leave the home in a neat and tidy condition. We invite you to enjoy your island vacation at My Tern.

Sisters Vacay

This property is in a very good location and the managers were very friendly and always responded to our text messages via the VRBO app immediately. It’s not a fancy house, but it was clean, spacious, and it was all that we needed. The door handle on the back door locked fine, but I could never get the deadbolt to work. The property has air conditioning units and they all worked well, however, the upstairs bathroom is hot (it does have a window fan, though). If you like to read, you’re bound to find a good book to read while staying here! Many of the items I thought I would need to buy at the grocery store were already in the house. One recommendation I have for the owners is to install a safety bar in the upstairs shower and put something on the floor of the tub to keep people from slipping. Chincoteague and Assateague are so beautiful. My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

1 Week Vacation

Nice quaint little beach house. Plenty of space inside to hang out and play games, talk, and prepare food. Small back yard, but that's no issue. There's also a convenient sand washing station out back to wash the sand off after a day at the beach.
