We stayed here during a ski weekend to Crystal Mountain and the location was great! We enjoyed the hot tub and the home is very spacious and was the perfect size for our group.
We had a great stay! The house was perfect for us. It was clean and well equipped. Perfect place for accessing Crystal Mountain Resort. Great ski area also!!!
This is the second time that we’ve stayed at this property and we had just as good as time as last time. The kitchen is well stocked, the hot tub is great, and the beds and pillows are fantastic. We hope to stay here every year with our friends.
This was the perfect mountain getaway for our trip. The house was amazing, clean, had everything we needed. Our teen loved the loft area with a tv and we loved the hot tub. Would definitely recommend!!
Cabin was spacious, clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. We had four teen daughters with us so the space was much appreciated. The location is unbeatable- quiet neighborhood near the skiing. I would definitely stay here again!
This home was more than enough for four adults and three kids. Well-appointed kitchen and bonus room, very clean, and great hot tub. Conveniently close to Crystal Mountain. We will be back!
Our family (3 adults & 2 teenagers) had a very pleasant short vacation at this cabin. The cabin was well equipped and had everything that we needed for our stay. The grounds were very nice and reasonably secluded. Highly recommended.
From the Elk that greeted us upon arrival, to the convenient location half way from town to mountain, it was a great stay. A very roomy and comfortable place to have a holiday with bunk beds for the kids and a hot tub for the adults! Thank you.
This was our second time staying at this cabin for a ski weekend and it was great again for our party of 4 adults and 4 kids. Comfy, super communication with the host, great hot tub and indoor fireplace in the main hangout space. We'll be back!
Location location location.. perfect cabin in woods
Our family travel annually to national parks and this was by best cabin with all the aminities to relax enjoy ! 2 living rooms and 3 spacious bedrooms and outdoor hot tub that was perfectly tempt. Clean!! The small town of Greenwater is 5 min drive and 20 minutes to park and Crystal mountain. We will stay again. Thank you for a cabin almost better than advertised! Sincerely Rhonda.
Great place to stay for a ski weekend at crystal. The house felt bigger than expected and hot tub was lovely. The upstairs tv area did have spots that did not feel like they had been cleaned well (ie moved coffee table for game and found food underneath, random pen on ground) but other than that well taken care of

Thanks Kelsi for staying and for the review. I’m sorry the place wasn’t as clean as you expected, I will make sure the cleaning company does a better job in the future.
This property is conveniently placed half way between Crystal Mountain Resort and Enumclaw, which was perfect for our work trip. Unfortunately our trip was short and we didn’t get chance to use all the amenities, but the house is really well equipped and has very comfy beds and sofas. We had Elk roaming around the area among other wildlife which was super cool. There were limited options for food in the local area but adequate for our needs.
We were two families with kids ages 8-12 who had a great weekend stay. The house was very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for cooking. We lost power for our entire second day, but the house has a generator so we had heat, hot water, and working electricity in the kitchen and main living areas. We had a great time and are already planning another trip back.
We had a wonderful stay at this spacious mountain cabin including a bonus room above the garage with a TV and lots of DVD's to choose from. The location was perfect—tucked away in a quiet neighborhood yet only about 30 minutes from the Sunrise / White River entrance to Mount Rainier and close to several great hiking trails outside the park as well.Check-in was smooth and easy, which made settling in stress-free. The cabin had everything we needed, with a well-stocked kitchen - including spices in the pantry to lots of pots/pans to cook with. The cabin also has updated master bathroom - very nice touch! We especially loved relaxing on the deck, listening to the leaves rustle in the breeze, and even spotted an elk with her calf wandering through the woods at dusk.My kids enjoyed the zip line in the yard - and I even tried it too! The hot tub was an added bonus to soak our feet after long days hiking. Overall, this was a perfect mountain get away and we’d happily stay here again.
Extremely clean. Easy check in and check out. It was 100 degrees during our stay. Be aware there is no air conditioning in the one room that has a television over the garage. It was too miserable to be up there even in the evenings. Upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortable as well. We found some window fans that helped but only well after the sun went down and it cooled off. It would have been nice to have a window unit in the three upstairs rooms. Other than the heat the stay was fantastic. Kitchen is extremely well stocked. We had 9 deer in the back yard one night and that was magnificent to see. We went out on the deck and they didn’t even care that we were there watching. Also, bring your own hair dryer as there aren’t any in the home. All in all, I would stay again.

Thanks Stacey. It was lovely to have you. There is a heat pump which provides AC, I just need to update the directions. Sorry about that. And I have now added a hair dryer, thanks for that suggestion!
The house has many great elements but several issues were present.
First, the house was set to 50 degrees when we arrived (and we were instructed to set the temperature to the same upon exit) and super cold. We turned up the heat, but the furnace was quite weak and it took about 6 houses for the house to get to a comfortable temperature. We spent the first evening wearing our jackets. We were also not to use the gas fireplace for reasons unknown. The house should be set to a higher temperature or host should turn on the heat several hours before check in time.
Second, the oven smells strongly of gas when it’s turned on. It seems to work, but we did not feel comfortable using it and ended up using the toaster oven instead.
If these problems were fixed this house would be a perfect place to stay for a group.

Thanks for your comments Ilsa. Im so sorry you had to wear your coats. In the future, please do let me know about the heat, there is a way to make it heat up faster and we do have a space heater upstairs that is very quick. I will take a look into the oven smell. thanks!
This place exceeded expectations. Had a great yard for relaxing and spending time with friends and family. The kitchen was a great hangout spot during meal prep and the Bluetooth speaker helped create a fun mood during our stay. The property also provided easy access to Crystal. There was plenty of sleeping space for all 8 of us. Only negative was when the power went out, causing the alarm system to go off for hours during the night.
Still, I would absolutely choose to stay here again.
Jennifer was a responsive and helpful host. Everything was very clean and the kitchen recently updated. Great TV room for the kids and a the hot tub is top notch. We had Elk roaming right through the property which was fun to see. The house is slow to heat on the first day. There's a Nest thermostat so it probably wouldn't be too hard to warm the house ahead of time (there is internet). It would also be nice if a hatchet was available to chop kindling for a fire. We got one going nonetheless and the wood stove is a nice amenity. Just slight suggestions to improve an already great experience.

I am a mom to 3 boys who live in Seattle and love getting outside, in the winter and the summer.
Why they chose this property
We have always come to Crystal Mountain to ski and were looking for a place to be able to enjoy, ski, and enjoy the hiking and biking in the summer. We love this house and hope you will too!
What makes this property unique
We love the huge wrap-around porch that let's you sit outside, enjoy the views and sounds, play badminton on the lawn, ride the zip line. Run, hike, and bike right from the house. Enjoy the hot tub at the end of a great day. Eat outside on the deck. All of this on a very secluded lot.
