About this property
Alpen Bliss Chalet
Escape the city for a blissful stay in our newly updated riverfront home. Located in Greenwater, WA - just 15 to 20 minutes from Mount Rainier National Park & Crystal Mountain Ski Area - there are plenty of things to explore within a stone's throw. After a day of adventuring, kick back and enjoy the open layout of the kitchen and living area with its vaulted wood ceilings and rustic charm. Or, pop outside to lounge on the deck overlooking the White River, and take a dip in the hot tub.
This 3-bedroom, 2-bath house sleeps seven in beds, but can accommodate up to eight people with additional couch space in the living room. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a twin-size daybed. The remaining two bedrooms both have queens. Downstairs, there are two couches: one sectional, and one standalone sofa. We have plenty of extra blankets and linens if you should need them.
Summer heatwaves bogging you down? No problem, we’ve got A/C to keep the house cool for you. Big storms blowing in? We’ve got a standby automatic generator to keep things cozy in the event of a power outage.
Feeling like whipping up a meal? The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware for all your culinary needs.
Both bathrooms are equipped with plenty of towels. Extra toiletries are available in the event you forget your go-to shampoo and body wash.
In the living room, huddle up with friends and family on the large sectional couch for a movie night. Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video are all available for your streaming pleasure, or go unplugged and peruse our collection of DVDs and board games.
In the same room, gather around the old logging sled coffee table, situated under vaulted wood ceilings, and lounge back in our stressless Ekornes chairs. Feeling musical? Feel free to jam out with any of the acoustic instruments hanging next to the cobblestone fireplace. (Note: Guests are not permitted to burn wood in the fireplace, though we do have flameless candles).
Note: We love animals, and well-behaved, housebroken dogs are welcome in our home with basic pet etiquette. Due to the additional cleaning involved, we charge a non-refundable pet fee of $30 per dog. (This will be charged manually after the booking is made). When making your reservation, please let us know how many dogs you would like to bring on your trip, and what breeds they are.

Why they chose this property
Crystal Mountain has been my playground ever since I was three years old. I've been volunteering here since 2011 on the weekend ski patrol, and it's always been a dream of mine to have a home of my own in the mountains that raised me. I'm happy to share the experience of this lovely home with my guests, when I'm not staying here myself. Please treat it with love, and enjoy your stay!
What makes this property unique
Waking up to the gentle noise of river rapids on summer mornings, with birds chirping is something special. Or in the winter, looking out on the balcony to discover a fresh blanket of light fluffy snow on the deck railing - a reminder that it's about to be a very fun day on the ski hill. This place truly has year-round charm.
