We had a wonderful time enjoying Enumclaw, Crystal Mountain, Mt Rainier, and being able to wind down in the little blue house. With two infants, we were comfortable and found everything we needed.
A quaint cabin. Perfect for the two of us. Loved that it was stocked in the kitchen! Perfectly comfortable. Only downside is the steep stairs which you have to maneuver to get downstairs to the bathroom at night. Great location to get to the park! Even had elk in the yard one evening!!
It was perfect for our visit. We wanted to be close to our kids and grandkids. This worked out very well. The wildlife that was in the yard was a bonus. Our grandkids got to see Elk up close and personal.
Very nice property, clean and worked well for three of us (myself, wife, and adult daughter). Excellent location to all the great hiking areas. We visited Sunrise and Paradise. Great location for skiing in the winter . Little Town of Greenwater was neat. Friendly folks, meet a neighbor in the shop down the street. The shop has nice merchandise and a great little cafe with very good milkshakes after a long hike.
We had a great time staying in The Little Blue House. The property was accurately described and our host was welcoming. Only about a 25 minute to the East entrance to Mt Rainier, which was the primary reason we wanted to stay in the area!
The Little Blue House is cozy and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and the cabin has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed exploring Mt Rainier NP and are already thinking about when we can return! Highly recommend to anyone who loves the mountains!
We enjoyed hiking in the early morning hours and returning to the little blue house to relax. Very lovely neighborhood and easy walk for coffee! This home is equipped with everything you could possibly need.
If you’re looking for a cozy getaway in Greenwater, stop scrolling, you’ve found it! The cabin is so cute, peaceful, and has everything you need to either fully relax or pretend you’re running away from society. The host is amazing, though I admit I’m biased since she’s a dear friend of mine. But don’t just take my word for it!, check out her Instagram @rainierblooms and you’ll see she grows the most gorgeous dahlias you’ll ever lay eyes on. If someone can make flowers look that good, you can trust she knows how to make a cabin stay just as stunning. 10/10 recommend, though now I’m mad at myself for telling everyone about this hidden gem because I want it all to myself.

Cute little house
My group was really surprised by the cute ascetic! It was a cozy place to stay with comfy furniture. It also had a tv with screaming services and a wii which was fun to relax with. Overall really happy with the house!

This is a really cute house and was just right for my daughter and my stay. We got to see Elk and baby elk each night. The owners were very responsive when we had a problem and fixed it right away. Very hospitable. We hope to come back!

Thank you Stephanie. We enjoyed having you and hope to see you on your next adventure.
Loved having big Elk in the front yard upon our arrival! Cute, clean house and perfect for our needs. I was so surprised to have so much food and condiments in cupboards, refrigerator & freezer which was a nice touch. The stairs seemed a little steep for us 2 older folks but we managed. Thank you for all your cute touches!
The Little Blue House was even more than expected. It is located in a very peaceful area. It is Very Clean. The furnishings are very comfortable. Many entertaining instruments and games.
The location allows easy access to Mt Rainier's many attractions.
The Host is extremely helpful and quick to respond.
I would like to return!!
First off, truly, the drinking water was delicious and crisp. Very refreshing, especially after hiking one of the many hikes on Mt Rainer. Loved the location and quick access to the National Park. The house is right off the main road but we felt we were in our own little world. We indulged in the delicious ice cream at Wapiti just across the road a couple of time. The host was very communicative and stocked the house with everything that was needed for a weekend getaway. Thank you for your hospitality.

We really do have the BEST water. Thank you and we hope to have you again.
We had a great time in the blue house! It feels at home as soon as we arrived. The place is very cozy with lots of amazing decorations. My kids loved playing the musical instruments, watching deers walking past the lawn, and playing Wii games upstairs. Our weekend was during a heat wave but it feels cool downstairs and the AC works to cool the upstairs effectively. The house is in a convenient location with gas station, restaurant, grocery stores and even a street taco stand nearby. Would love to come back again in Winter!
We had a great time staying here, its an absolutely beautiful home. We got to enjoy the elk in the front yard several days. Relatively close location to the park. The only thing that surprised us was how hot the house was. There were no fans or AC downstairs. So over a heat wave weekend we spent 95% of our stay in the upstairs area where there was a window unit that cooled the area.

Thank you, Patty. You're correct, it was a heatwave weekend. The downstairs is usually the cool place to be. That's why the AC unit was upstairs; otherwise, you would have complained about the upstairs being unbearably hot. But we can't make everyone happy. We strive to keep our guests comfortable. Next time, let a host know so we can bend over backwards for you.
The Little Blue House was the perfect place to stay with my husband for our honeymoon! We were about an hour away from the Sunrise entrance at Mount Rainier National Park and an hour and a half from the Paradise entrance to Mount Rainier. It’s one of the closest places you can stay near the mountain without having to bring a camper or tent. The house had great tasting water to pack in our book bags for the hikes. There is a town about 20 minutes away where you can go to the grocery store and grab anything you might need. There are also a ton of food places there. By the house is Naches Tavern (great burgers) and the Outfitters store which we went to for ice cream. The house was nice and cool and had a perfect kitchen for cooking meals in. We had elk in the front yard one of the nights! Highly recommend staying at the little blue house if you’re planning a trip to Mount Rainier!
Cozy but would have liked to have known about narrow rainless staircase. We’re 84 and my husband is over weight and has a knee replacement .BUT everything went welll. Such a masterful use of space.
WINDERING…..cannot find my handcrafted wool journal. Has many haikus and reflections. It’s primarily brown with designs. Please let me know either way. It breaks my heart to lose it. Sincerely. Marikyn
Some rentals feel like you are staying in a staged house, some like a dear friend has lent you their home. The little blue house fell in between: the coziness and personality of a home, and all sorts of details that were professionally hospitable.
The house is small but lovely for our group of four. We loved the decor, musical instruments and treasured rocks displayed, a full spice rack, a comfy couch. We appreciated the excellent collection of games and books.
There were slippers and q tips and and an impressive coffee and tea selection and all sorts of touches to luxe up our stay, the shower was a rain shower style that felt like a warm hug.
We loved that there was a cozy upstairs tv room: the girls could curl up with YouTube while I sewed and mom read.
There is so much beautiful nature at Mt Rainier near, and even espresso within an easy walk. Even the neighbor’s cat is nice!! Highly recommended. Thank you Eshpeters for opening your retreat to us!
