Just plain cute!

The cabin we stayed in was very cute and well appointed. We had a nice time fishing and hanging out with friends. It would have been nice to have a map of the campground to find the lake easier.

Nice location

Overall a good experience. The cabin is small but sufficient. Location is a bit out in the middle of nowhere but it works for me. Cabin was clean but floors were filthy to the point that we refuse to takeoff our shoes. And although we pay a cleaning fee we were mandated to clean before we left.The cleaning fee is quite high so I should not have to clean.

Nice quiet place

The area was quiet. We enjoyed the fact that we were so close to the water. They had boatslips. For us at no extra charge but we could not get our boat in. The things that were not so nice was was the beds were very uncomfortable and none of our group slept great. We were ask to leave the cabin the way we found it but we had to clean it upon arrival. The frig was not clean and neither was the bathroom. We left the Cabins much cleaner then we found it. Upon booking we were charged a $55 cleaning fee which was OK until we learned upon arrival that we had to clean everything. So they charged us to clean the cabin. Just know that you must supply your own sheets and blankets, towels and toilet paper if you stay here. We never met the owners during our stay. Please know we enjoyed the closeness to the lake and had fun but you need to know what to expect.

Family get away

Overall the vacation was amazing! Only complaint I would have is the place was not clean going in and smelled like a dog, and we had to keep it clean when it wasn't clean itself!! That's why we left a 4 star rating! But the lake was amazing and got to see a couple of deer!

Quiet, cozy, and peaceful

This property was a great cabin getaway for a quiet weekend. The set-up would work well for family gatherings as well. It might be a tight squeeze to sleep 6 in the cabin, but it was great for two. We loved the pond and lake access. The nature trail was also nice. Would definitely visit again in the future!

Wonderful Getaway!

My only compliant is that this trip was too short! This was the first time that my husband and I went here, and it was exactly what we needed. We weren't looking for a busy tourist area, just some peace and quiet. We definitely will be returning! Thank you Jim & Joan!

Great place for families with kids

This was a great place for families with children who enjoy the woods.the cabins were great.it was nice to have air conditioning.the beds were comfortable.alittle more attention can be towards cleaning ex.spider webs,and the floor mopped not just sweep,but otherwise they were wonderful cabins.the beach area was a little rough for me personally (getting over and ankle injury)lots of big roots to watch out for and the sandy beach is sloped.this of course didn't bother my boys at all.the surrounding area was just beautiful.we are definitely going to be back this summer.

Quiet, serene. Would like to return someday. The boat docks are more of a walk than I anticipated, and I would have liked to have had TV and/or WiFi, but I was okay with making do without.

We LOVED our stay! Our cabin was clean. Easy access to the boat slips. There is a beach area with a canoe and kayak a nature trail and a fire pits. Relaxing and quiet place to stay. Jim and Joan are very nice people. We will be back!
