Great location! Condo was nice and the hosts recommendations were spot on! My family stay at this location every year and always enjoy the cafe there. The food is always fresh and tasty. The drinks are great too! This location is ideal for families! We loved our stay!

Condo was okay, some updates, better cleaning definitely needed. The pools were great but the beach and their rules with the chairs and umbrellas was ridiculous in our opinion. We went to Henderson State Park Beach, absolutely beautiful!! The views from the condo were amazing and in a great location to shopping and restaurants. Host was quick to reply and explained everything for an easy check in. Overall a great stay!

Spectacular views! We spent lots of time on the balcony, even dining al fresco. Having an umbrella and nice beach chairs was key for us since we enjoyed nearly every afternoon til sunset on the beach (when set-ups were taken down). Cooking simple dinners was easy with some basic pans, but don’t expect any pantry items. Gym was clean and well equipped and parking was covered and cool. Enjoyable stay :)

The condo is just how it is listed. It is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful. It was stormy almost every day we were there, but we enjoyed sitting outside and watching and listening to the ocean. The view was amazing.Our host was wonderful and responsive. We loved the way it was set up.The location was far enough away from the street but close to everything.Note for others: there are great cooking supplies and utensils but nothing else as in spices, etc. That is generally not a problem for us as we have to make a grocery run anyway.

Peaceful

I highly recommend this property. The location was perfect in relation to the beach as well as other places to enjoy in Destin. The view was amazing, the property was very clean, and inviting. The staff was very kind and courteous and I felt a sense of peace because of the 24/7 security on the property. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful view

Mom and i came for a quick getaway and this condo was very clean. We had everything we needed. Having the nice beach chairs and umbrella was a hit for us being we flew down.The rooms were decorated very beachy🏝( which ofcouse i love). We had a great time and plan on coming back for sure.

Pictures do not do justice for this property. My family and I loved our stay and will definitely make it our new get away vacation spot for this destination. Great communication great location great experience. Def 5 stars!

Great views from the 18th floor of ocean & 180 of the Horizon. Parking is free & ample. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Beach access very easy. Beach itself unbelievable!!! Host was super helpful & accommodating. Unit inside was very clean & had pretty much all utensils & appliances you'd need for cooking etc. Full kitchen. Couldn't get the fridge ice maker to work but that may have been user error. 2 full bathrooms & could've slept 5 easily, 6 in a pinch. Great location & set-up! Would definitely recommend & go back myself.

Best Vacation

Me and my little boy loved our condo and just our whole trip. The condo was clean and the view was amazing. What I also love is everything is close for walking or driving. And the water park was a big hit with my little boy. Sumer was so wonderful to work with and was very prompting in responding anytime I reached out with a question. I've added this condo to my favorites for sure and will definitely be back.

Destin Vacation

We had a really great time. The bed was really comfortable and clean. The views were amazing. The condo could have been cleaned better, the floors had sand and hair on them, but we were able to sweep that up. The condo had everything we needed and having two bathrooms was great. We really enjoyed the beach chair service from the beach vendor. The on-site restaurant and tiki bar were great and the pools were nice too. All of the staff at the property was friendly and there was excellent communication with the host prior to and during our stay.

We were very excited to go to Destin for a vacation.The Host I messaged with throughout the week was prompt in responding.The view was beautiful.Unfortunately, the showers were not clean, they were cleaned during our stay.The unit is used a lot.Washer/Dryer situation was fairly inconvenient.The largest complaint I have is I love spending time on a balcony overlooking the ocean. I was unable to for our entire stay. People were not honoring the no smoking, whether it was cigarettes or marijuana. Due to that lack of consideration, I will never stay there again.I’m a non-smoker and I get headaches being around cigarettes. That was not fun each day for me.I’m typically not having to put negative reviews, but I wanted to keep it real for those non smokers out there.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the beautiful ocean view and appreciated our prompt communication throughout your stay. We would like to clarify a few points for our future guests. The statement that the "showers were not clean" is a misleading characterization of this guest's experience. The only concern reported was a minor discoloration on one of the shower head spray nozzles, and we addressed it immediately after it was brought to our attention. Regarding the laundry, there are washer and dryer facilities available on each floor of the building. These are shared resort amenities managed by the HOA and are not controlled by individual unit owners. The smoking concern was related to an isolated violation of the resort’s no-smoking policy. Pelican Beach Resort strictly prohibits smoking, and we advised contacting resort security so they could identify the source and address the situation. While we cannot control the actions of other guests staying in neighboring units, we always encourage reporting any violations so they can be handled appropriately. We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable home and responsive service to every guest.

Would return TOMORROW if we could…

Everything about our rental, from Sumer’s first welcoming text, to my final thank you back to Sumer on our way out, was WONDERFUL! There were no complaints from any of my family, which includes my husband and our four children ranging in age from 10 - 21. If I could, I’d go back tomorrow to merely sit on the balcony, drink my coffee, and relish the sound and view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Great escape to Destin!

My boyfriend and I spent a few days relaxing in Destin and this condo was great. We loved the large patio (with table and chairs) overlooking the gulf where we enjoyed morning coffee and evening sunsets. It stormed really hard for the majority of our trip so we ended up spending A LOT of time inside and didn’t have any complaints. Due to the thunder storm waits at restaurants we’re even longer than usual so we ended up making the majority of meals at the condo. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Would stay again!
