A tranquil setting, convenient to the Rocky Mountain National Park and to the town of Estes Park. A five minute drive will put you at the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Five minutes will also get you to the center of downtown Estes Park. Most restaurants are within ten minutes and all of the fine dining within fifteen minutes of this property.

This 2700 square foot home sits at an elevation of 8200 feet at the base of Rams Horn Mountain. Natural beauty and Wilderness are right outside the door.

We have named our mountain house 'Dream Lake' after one of our favorite hiking trail stops. Hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park to Emerald Lake and Lake Haiyaha take us past Dream Lake.

Hi-speed Internet, Secure Wireless network anywhere in the house and on the decks. Internet computer provided for guest use.Wireless printer with scan and copy.
Hi-def home theater with surround sound, Satellite, Netflix, movie library, DVR, DVD,VCR. Screen is 120' diagonal. Lots of entertainment here.
The theater has its own tv tuner,120 channels of satellite tv, This theater is very unique as you can view the mountains and wildlife while you are watching movies or TV!
Xbox 360 with controllers and games. Four rock band wireless guitars (including the Fender Mustang) with wireless drum set and key board.
Xbox 360 Kinect with games on a separate X-box console so you don't have to change connections.
We have about twenty video game titles at this time with all the popular rock band, Guitar hero, Halo,Kinect, and Wii games. Ask for a list.

Gather used towels and store extra beds

The towels are very time consuming for the cleaners. Please wash the towels and put them in the dryer before you leave
Put any furniture or chairs or anything that you moved back where it was. Pick up the games, puzzles, books, etc and put them back where you found them.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything our family needed. It was perfect for both adults and children, with plenty of space and all the comforts of home. The location was fantastic—close to everything yet still quiet and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot and would definitely love to stay here again!

Fantastic Family Vacation Spot

Wonderful place to stay in Estes near Rocky Mountain National Park. The host was very responsive. We enjoyed the tranquil setting, hot tub, and the kids loved the Rock Band gaming.

Fantastic stay

This place has it all. Gary is a fantastic host and always available for questions or concerns. Location is fantastic for Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes. Entertainment center set-up is insane. My family loves this place and we hope to be back. Gary is always available but I think the best thing I can say is that we didn’t need him because everything you need is already there with excellent instructions. Can’t recommend any higher.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The location was great. Morning coffee in the sunshine on the deck was a great way to start the day. Plenty of room for our extended family as we loved all being together.

Entire family was very comfortable and happy! It's probably the most well-stocked properties we've ever stayed in. We loved the view from the deck and saw lots of deer and elk. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect family stay

The house was perfect for our family trip to the Rockies. My kids loved the games in the basement, the deck was lovely to sit on and have my coffee, the hot tub was a lifesaver after difficult hikes and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. I would stay again without reservation

Great place to be in Estes...in the snow!

This place was cozy, well-appointed, and a perfect place to watch the snow, hang out, cook and enjoy the area. We saw deer several times, enjoyed the hot tub, and ventured out into Rocky Mountain National Park a couple of times!

Estes Park House

Just a wonderful place. Been there three times now and have enjoyed it every time. The house has everything that you could possibly need and the location near Rocky Mountain National Park made for some great hiking. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Exceeded Expectations

Our group of five coworkers stayed for a conference. The house itself is beautiful and true to the pictures. I don't think I have ever stayed in a VRBO that was so well equipped. Every pot and dish you could want, spices, lots of firewood, etc... It made cooking a pleasure. The house is just a few minutes away from downtown which made it convenient.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time! Close enough to do all the things that Estes had to offer, but also away from the busyness! Plenty of room for everyone! We enjoyed a lot of time on both decks! One of the decks had a roof so a perfect place to play cards and listen to the rain! Thank you again for the accommodations!

Gary’s property was very clean, spacious and accommodating for our group of 9. Plenty of bedrooms and baths, an abundantly appointed kitchen and inviting hot tub made our stay comfortable and homey! Gary was very responsive with our questions. The view from the deck was wonderful and he has plenty of outdoor seating (grills) to encourage time outside. The kids got a kick out of the Wii, also! The house’s proximity to RMNP is a plus, as well as to downtown Estes, groceries & gas. The only caution we would leave is to bring your ear plugs if you are an adult sleeping downstairs. The fan on the HVAC is very loud overnight, which wasn’t an issue for the kids but did disturb the adults. We did try turning off the unit overnight but woke up cold. We never quite found the balance during our stay. Other than that, our experience was excellent!

We had a great week at the cabin. Very clean and well stocked. Views were amazing! Gary, the owner, was very good at communicating. Actually, we were there during the fire and he kept very close contact with me, helping me know what to do in case of evacuation. We didn’t have to, thankfully! Got to stay our whole week!! Love Estes and loved this cabin!

Back to the snow after 15 years away.

Normally we vacation and stay at hotels. It was great to rent this house. Stocked with everything needed. Good to have enough room to spend time with family and friends instead of being cramped into a hotel. Owner checked in on us to make sure we were ok after it snowed. We will definitely do this again.

The Perfect Home for Families or groups of friends

Wow! This home was more than we expected. Check in was easy. Plenty spacious and the home included all the extras you think you’ll need. From walking sticks to baby gates, to fishing supplies and plenty of games for a family game night. The views were amazing! The game area was a hit for the younger kids. There was even plenty of spices and kitchen gadgets that you literally felt like you were able home! Thank you so much Gary for a beautiful home!

We live a little less than an hour away in Fort Collins.
We have vacationed all over and often rented homes to stay in, and those were our best vacation memories.

Why they chose this property

It's all about the view! This area of the Rockies is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and one of the few very beautiful locations that has year-round activities.
The location and convenience are a nice bonus, but the views were the main consideration in choosing this property.Every room, every window in this house has a great view. We looked for years at Estes Park and Grand lake for a second home that would be an investment and eventually a retirement home for us. We saw lots of properties with no nice view, or tiny windows, or neighbors too close,too small,or too 'inconvenient' to get to. This home is in a perfect, very quiet spot. Our neighbors are few, they are not close by, and do not spoil the view. Getting to the Park, the restaurants, and the shopping are easy from this location. On Summer weekends when the town is jammed with tourists, it is easy to bypass the traffic by using Peak View and Riverside drive.
We love to go hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, and access to the park is quick and easy from this location. The drive to the Park from our property does not go through town and traffic is never an issue even on Summer weekends.

What makes this property unique

We have gone a bit overboard with guest amenities.
No vacation home has more entertainment options. The home theater with video games and movies will occupy the kids down stairs while the adults enjoy the view and 50 inch plasma tv upstairs.
