The Nest at Swallows' Flight is a luxury holiday barn with 100% five star reviews, set within the grounds of a beautiful cobbled farm courtyard dating back to the 1800's. The barn has a beautiful interior - mid century antiques, exposed beams, a hand built kitchen, luxurious bed with White company bed linens, grounds and gardens with a private hot tub to relax in. Rural views over farmland one mile and from the coast, beaches, pub and local farm shop with brewery. Very foodie area - lots of nice places to eat out. Stunning coastal path walks. Perfect for a couple to retreat, unwind and cosy up in!

We had a fantastic half-term break at the barn. Lucia and her family we very welcoming. The barn was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Lots of thoughtful touches made the visit special. I particularly loved sitting in the bay window, surrounded by swallows nest, opening over the sheep fields in the distance. Our children, aged 8 and 5 had a wonderful time running around in the fields. The area is bucolic, and the property close to multiple beaches, Totnes, Dartmouth and Salcombe.

Beautiful property

We had a fantastic stay at this stunning property. The owners were so friendly and helpful and there were lots of little personal touches which was lovely. Would highly recommend and will visit again.

We have four children and after travelling the world and working in the South East for fifteen years returned to the place where we grew up - the glorious South Hams in Devon. We have renovated our beautiful Victorian farmhouse and courtyard and now love to welcome people here to share our gardens, fields and views.

Why they chose this property

We are in a perfect rural location - tucked away down a quiet country lane yet within walking distance of the village (ten minutes) and also the beach (45 minutes). We can reach around ten beaches within ten minutes drive form our house. Our property has been featured in 25 Beautiful Homes magazine and really is a stunning example of a Victorian farmhouse with a cobbled farm courtyard dating back to the 1800's. For those that love historic buildings renovated sympathetically, this is the place for you!

What makes this property unique

The Granary barn provides privacy and relaxation for couples. We are also very child friendly having four kids of our own and can provide any baby or child equipment needed for your stay at no extra cost.

Our hot tub is situated on a deck up some wooden steps in a former Victorian water tower offering privacy and lovely views to Start Point.
