Proposal weekend

Great place to stay

Hotel rooms have become too crowded for our family, this house was a fantastic upgrade at the same price as a hotel. LOVED relaxing in the sunroom and the fenced yard to let our dogs out safely. Neighborhood was safe, quiet and conveniently located. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Family vacation

Great stay in a nice quiet neighborhood. Check in went smoothly and there was very little to do for checkout. The yard was great for our dog. The house was close to the beach, stores, restaurants and anywhere else we wanted to go. The rooms were clean and organized. We were provided with everything to make our stay comfortable.

Very nice home in good location

This single one-story home is in a good central location in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main roads. Our schedule during the visit to Wilmington was so busy that we spent little time there, but the home was clean, the kitchen well stocked, there was a washer-dryer, a spacious enclosed back porch, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. If the opportunity arises, I would stay again.

Our family of five and doggies so enjoyed this cozy home. The screen room was our favorite relaxing spot. Loved the neighborhood and walking/ bike path nearby that connects to the beach. Definitely will return. We would like to purchase a home in this area for retirement!

We stayed here for 4 days while in town for a baseball tournament with our 15-year-old son and brought the whole family—including our dog. The house was perfect for us! My wife and I had the master bedroom with a private bath, and both of our kids had their own rooms and slept comfortably. Each room had a fan, and the central air kept the whole place cool.The fenced-in backyard was great for our dog, and we really enjoyed the sunroom and outdoor seating areas. The location was super convenient—close to stores, great restaurants, and only about 15 minutes from the beach.The house has an older, cottage-style charm that we really appreciated. It was very clean and well-stocked with plenty of soft linens. The beds were incredibly comfortable—especially the one in the master. I usually prefer a firm mattress, but with a lingering back issue, I actually slept better than I had in weeks. I wish I could’ve taken it home with me!The owner was very responsive and accommodating. When we had an issue with the Wi-Fi, she immediately went out to Spectrum and got a new device to resolve it. She also worked with us to allow a slightly earlier check-in than expected, which we really appreciated after a long drive.All in all, a cozy, clean, and comfortable home that made our trip that much better. We’d absolutely stay again!

Overall would stay again….

We spent most of our time in the screened in sun room. The house had a musty smell when we arrived which either got better or we got used to. The Kitchen and bathrooms are very dated and the outside is a bit overgrown and in need of more upkeep. Even so, I would consider staying again. The neighborhood seemed quiet and peaceful during our stay. We appreciated being able to bring our large dog.

Great Wilmington location

We travelled with 2 dogs and the fenced in, large yard, was such a plus. Additionally, the house was clean, located in a great neighborhood and had everything we needed. Even better, we were 300 steps (yes, I counted) from the Gary shell cross city trail. Great for taking the dogs for a picturesque 2 mile walk, and for us to ride the entire trail through the University of Wilmington campus. It was great to just hop on the bike and go without loading the bikes on the car! Loved Slice of Heaven pizza and the eclectic mix of stores and restaurants on market and front st. Communication with the host was easy and she responded quickly. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a stay in the area.

Spacious, but Dated

The location and lot was very nice. The backyard although fenced and spacious was very overgrown and needed mowing. The kitchen is in need of a few basics including a sink stopper. The outside doors do not seal properly and insects are able to get in.

pleasant month in NC

We enjoyed the spacious Mid Century ranch home located in a meticulously maintained, quiet neighborhood. Along with the fenced yard for our dog we enjoyed the sun room, and the City Walking Trail with access 600 feet from the house. The home is central to beaches, acquarium, museums and gardens. The Boathouse Restraunt is five minutes away; wonderful.. We were amazed that when the clothes dryer stopped, the repair man and manager both, were at the house at 9;00 a.m., the next morning. By 12:30 p.m., the dryer was miraculously replaced with a new one!!

The is property was the perfect location to see all that Wilmington has to offer, with a gorgeous fenced-in backyard for our pups to hang out. We were 10 min from beaches, downtown restaurants and most attractions. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and the house clean and stocked with most everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The house needed a few upgrades but that can be expected the yard needs a lot of maintenance mainly shrub trimming and removal of poison ivy and briars pet loved the size of the fenced lawn great neighborhood very quiet the neighbors were all friendly overall the house and location were great nice walking trails restaurants and beach were close by

Great location

A great location close to Airlie Gardens and close enough to Wrightsville Beach. The greenway trail just down the block is a great place to walk dogs. The house is spacious. Owner is responsive and easy to communicate with.

Quiet Stay in Wilmington

The house is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood near anything you need. Shopping, restaurants and beach nearby. Booked our stay and luckily able to extend it by a day because of quick and great response by management. Will definitely stay here again.
