Great Family Location

WONDERFUL property! Our family—3 sons, daughters-in-law, and 3 grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home—inside and out. The large pool, spa, and huge backyard made for a fun-filled vacation. Cooking in the spacious kitchen and playing pool in the family room was a bonus! Highly recommend.

Great Family Holiday Vacation Home

Our extended family recently stayed here. The owner was very helpful in addressing our questions and specific needs with quick response. The home had room for all of us and provided privacy but also space where all of us could spend time together. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable with easy access to attractions and amenities. The only request from the football watchers would be to update TV's to flat screens. This home is very comfortable and provided great quality family time!

Great family retreat

The house was the perfect spot for our family for a family reunion in Scottsdale. There were 11 of us including the kids, and everyone had plenty of room to move. The kids, and adults had a great time with the pool table. The kitchen was great to cook in, and gather together. When there was a problem with the hot tub, Wendy came right over to help. I would recommend this property to anyone renting in the Scottsdale area. It's also in a very convenient location.

Big lovely Scottsdale home, nice owner!

This is a large, well-appointed home with a big backyard in a nice area of Scottsdale. The house has a huge family room off the kitchen with lots of seating and a pool/ping-pong table, which was perfect for hanging out! The owner, Wendy, was fantastic to work with. My only caution is that Wendy sometimes rents out the master suite/guest house ("casita") separately, so confirm that first if you need the whole property. This created an awkward situation for our group, but Wendy was helpful and patient as we tried to resolve it.

Zachary and his group( basketball team of teenage boys) were here for a tournament and vacation. The honeymoon suite was occupied but the casita was not. That is normally not the case but the suite was already booked and thanks to Zach understanding the situation it all worked out. Thanks Zach... see you next visit when you can stay in the honeymoon suite; )

Phoenix get away

Wendy is very nice and responsive. The house is gorgeous and spacious. We were looking forward to all members of our group to have a private bedroom. Problem: the house is listed as six bedrooms. We had 4 of them. A room off the main entrance( living room or den) was considered a bedroom. The other bedroom was rented out to a family w/ a kid. We are 5 men on a business trip to Phx. This was not expected. Also, it was not appreciated. Lastly, the house would have been everything we wanted and needed if the bedroom situation was correct.

The house rental DID NOT include the casita and was acknowledged by the guest upon booking. (it was not available at that time) The casita IS an option but was already reserved when the reservation was made. The casita is a separate guest house and is not a part of the main house and has a separate entrance. The sleeping arrangements are as described on the listing and were discussed during the booking process. Golfers like all their own beds and we are able to accommodate that and beyond. Unfortunately the tenant did not arrive upon check in with his group, and missed the lounge with the 2 twin day beds. which are located in the Buddha lounge and are featured as shown and described on the listing. This home is a true oasis with a very well laid out spacious floor plan and it's location is fabulous!!!!

Great location for West World. Other than that, very disappointing. The house is large, that's about it, unfortunately. Pool was dirty, hot tub was dirty and cold. Place is just rough inside and out. Broken cabinets, dirty walls, miscellaneous broken, missarranged furniture inside, and furniture, and landscaping outside. There's a cat that lives in the house, stinky litter box... I could go on, but it is not my intention to be mean or financially harmful to the landlord, I'm just trying to give fair warning and useful information to potentially renters. Best of luck...

The day/ late evening of your arrival (Friday) and the next morning there was a huge windstorm and the pool had leaves in it as you were aware. Your uncle Steve and I spoke upon his arrival and was very pleased with the accommodations. I also asked him about the spa and he wasn't sure if you would be using it that evening. I never heard back from you. The hot tub was cleaned Friday and Saturday as well and heater was turned on for you. The pool is not heated in the cold winter months unless requested and please note this is stated in the listing. I sent you a screenshot of house rules regarding such. Unfortunately, the bbq grill had not been cleaned from the prior guest. I received a text about the grill Saturday am and as you know I addressed it immediately and actually went out and purchased a brand-new grill hours later that day, which you did not use or even acknowledge! Interesting how you didn't mention this.... But you now have a lot of new unwarranted complaints about everything. and so it goes........ You agreed to keep Sedona the house kitty, which was very kind of you, but she does come with a litter box located in the laundry room. The house is as advertised, not run down, dirty or broken lol!!!! SERIOUSLY???? Sorry you don't like the furniture placement in the house or outside, it's unheard of. I went above and beyond from the get-go to give you a discounted rate for your stay because of your limited budget and also offered you a late checkout. (therefore the pool would have been out of your budget even if you had requested to heat it, if or only one full day?) After speaking with you on Sunday i realized there was nothing that would make you happy! Late checkout was not an issue, but you made it one? Does your anger have anything to do with the success at Barret Jackson on Saturday? I wonder.... It's unfortunate that you feel the need to take your anger out on me which i truly believe is the underlying reason for this review. It is a well-known fact that sometimes no matter what you do, you cannot please everyone. Life is short. Please read the other great reviews on our home. Thank you. wendy

Wrongfully Withheld Deposit

This is a scam. After requiring a substantial cleaning fee, the owner/property manager withheld our deposit because she said the house was "a disaster" even though we followed all the rules regarding cleaning (striped beds, started load of laundry, did all dishes, etc.). She refused to produce any photos or cleaning receipts to substantiate her claim that the house required thousands of dollars worth of cleaning. She even refused my offer to split the deposit. She knew we were from out of state and is taking advantage. DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE.

Our home was BOOKED under FALSE PRETENSES for a special EVENT, which Is NOT ALLOWED and is CLEARLY stated in the contract. We also DO NOT rent to guests under the age of 30!!!. In addition to the violations and additional expenses ,(including steam cleaning of grout and tile floors, carpet cleaning , dry cleaning of vomit in bedspreads etc.etc.) incurred by this group of 12 girls gone wild, they were NOT entitled to a refund!!! THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE!!! DAMAGE DEPOSIT was RIGHTFULLY WITHHELD AND NON REFUNDABLE. AS PER THE CONTRACT. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HOME . PLEASE READ OUR GREAT REVIEWS about our PROPERTY and the OWNER.

Great entertaining space!

We hosted friends and family for a casual weekend by the pool. The house was perfect for our needs with large common areas for gathering, eating, and playing but also offered a private space for everyone to retreat to.

Great place near so many things!

A group consisting of my family and friends visited Scottsdale, AZ for some golf and to attend the Waste Management Open. Wendy was so great to work with through the entire process, she even showed us around the house when we checked in to give us a tour of the rooms which was so nice! The place was in a prime location for the WM Open, golf courses, casinos and downtown Scottsdale, as it was a short Uber away from all. Thank you again for letting us stay Wendy!

Golf Trip

We had 8 guys on a golf trip. We all felt this was a good value. House was roomy with the addition of the Casita it slept 8 comfortably with ample bathrooms. It would definitely sleep a lot more if significant others were attending. Definitely would rent this again. Thanks to Wendy for the hospitality!

Spacious comfortable home for large group

Our family of nine were comfortable in this large, quiet home. The decor was lively and offered many seating options and spaces for both group activities and escapes for downtime. There were a few technical glitches - the heating system only partially worked (unfortunately we experienced a rare cold snap in Scottsdale), but Wendy was wonderfully responsive and supplied us with space heaters that more than covered our needs. As a host, Wendy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for. Overall, the house was everything we needed to have a great stay.

Happy times

I brought my parents to Scottsdale as a birthday present. They both will 85 this year. We were all amazed by this beautiful property both inside and out. It truly is an oasis with flowers and plants in full bloom. The home is in a very quiet neighbourhood . It was great to sit outside having a drink and enjoying the weather. The owner was great and made sure we knew where everything was in the home. She also went out of her way providing some ideas on nice restaurants and shopping ideas. Wendy is proud of her home and it shows. The pool was fantastic and clean. Lots of big towels to use. The patio has lots of comfortable furniture and you can truly relax. At night the patio sparkles with lights and provides great ambience. In addition the whole backyard has lights strung out and any photos do not show how beautiful the yard is. There is no doubt in our mind that we received excellent value and surpasses other homes that I have stayed in over the years. This is a 5 star home . We all had a wonderful time and home to return some time. Thank you

Worst Experience of All Time

This was not what our group signed up for by any means and I do not recommend anyone to stay at this property. Our group stayed at the house from 3/22 - 3/25 (2018). The property listing is completely misleading with the following instances supporting our review. -The property owner lives on the property in a "guest house". This guest house is connected to the living room where she listens to your entire conversations. The property owner told us she would not be around unless we needed something, but she was present and visible throughout our entire stay. -The property owner makes sure to say no pets allowed in her rental agreement but has a house cat named "Lucas" present during your stay. -One night (3/23) at 2AM , the property owner entered the house without permission looking for her cat Lucas. One of our guests woke up from his sleep and was scared for his life that someone broke into the house. This was a complete invasion of privacy and is breaking and entering. -The property owner came over when we were enjoying our dinner outside by the pool to lecture us about behavior and treating the property with respect. Meanwhile, everyone in our party was over 30 years old and some of them with families who are professional and respectful of people's property. -The owner served us an eviction notice the last night of our stay (3/24) for a reason that is still unclear -The property owner filed an insurance claim for $200 saying there was an issue with the freezer when there was zero damages upon our checkout The property owner said that we booked under false pretense which did not make sense. We booked this for a golf weekend with colleagues and friends and played four rounds of golf. She treated us as if we were teenagers on spring break. Overall, the worst experience ever and I do not recommend anyone to stay at a house with this property owner.

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. THE HOME WAS BOOKED FOR A" PROPOSED GOLF VACATION." IN FACT, IT WAS FOR A BACHELOR PARTY(not allowed) WHICH CONSISTED OF 10 UNDERAGE GUYS(also in violation of rental agreement.) ILLEGAL DRUGS,LOUD MUSIC, STRIPPERS AND PARTIES TILL 4:30 am!!!!!! DRUNK BOYS ON THE ROOF TOP ,VIA a 10 FT LADDER ONTO THE TILE ROOF TO JUMP IN THE POOL!!!! THEY WERE EVICTED BUT DIDN'T LEAVE UNTIL THE DEPARTURE DATE, NEXT MORNING. DAMAGES WERE as REPORTED AND EVIDENCE was SENT to INSURANCE COMPANY. THIS TENANT ALSO OWES FOR POOL HEAT AS WELL AS BROKEN ROOF TILES! AT THE END OF THE DAY I WAS JUST THANKFUL NO ONE BROKE THEIR NECK OR EVEN WORSE!!!! I JUST HAPPENED TO BE IN THE GUEST HOUSE that weekend WHICH IS COMPLETELY PRIVATE and HAS A COMPLETELY SEPARATE ENTRANCE. THEY APPROACHED ME !!!!FOR DRUGS AND STRIPPERS! PLEASE READ ALL OF MY REVIEWS, THIS IS A MALICIOUS ACT , TO SAY THE LEAST.... THANK YOU. WENDY PLEASE NOTE THE GUEST HOUSE IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST I DO NOT STAY AT THE CASITA, YOU WILL NOT SEE ME UNLESS YOU NEED ME. Thank you.

Amazing house, wonderful owner

My friends and I booked this property for a spring training weekends. The house was perfect. Large kitchen/living room accommodated everyone easily throughout the day and was the perfect place to have everyone together in the same room. Plenty of sleeping options, each bedroom had it’s own bathroom and tons of storage in the closets. The outdoor loving space was also great. Perfect for hanging by the pool, swimming, and enjoying Scottsdale weather. Wendy was very accommodating and responsive, she made sure our stay was as comfortable and easy as possible. Two thumbs up on the whole experience!

Another amazing stay- Didn't want to leave

My fiance' and I stayed at this this resort style house a few years ago and we loved it so much, we thought about having our wedding ceremony there. I love the quiet neighborhood with tons of open space and lots of activities for the family to do during our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the bedrooms are spread out throughout the house. The pool and beautiful landscape make you feel like you are at an oasis! The staff we very attentive to our requests and made us feel right at home. We can't wait to go back!

Fabulous home and great experience with Wendy!

The 6 of us came to Scottsdale for a golf trip. The home was very well suited for us. Clean, comfortable and spacious. In person, the home was better than the pictures. Thank you Wendy for taking care of us!

It is conveniently located to grocery stores, malls, shopping, golf, spring training, casinos ,horseback riding, hiking trails, sporting events, car shows, the Barrett Jackson, PGA golf,Arabian horse show, .....just to name a few: )

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This home is located at the end of a cul de sac on an especially quiet street.
The properties in the neighborhood consist of all luxury homes on beautiful private one-acre estates.
The yard is extremely private with a resort style yard, and mature landscaping which consists of palm trees, fruit trees and a mix of desert landscape as well.
The covered patio is great to entertain on and the pool is a diving pool! There is also a firepit BBQ and flagstone deck on upper level of the property.

Access to bike trails, hiking close by.

Plenty of recreational space to enjoy and explore.
