Enjoyed our week at Tucked Inn. House was perfect for us. Loved using the paddleboards & kayaks. Also enjoyed putting together puzzles, so many to choose from.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The home was spacious with everything that you needed. The beds were very comfortable but could have used a couple more fans (it got a bit toasty at times). The site is beautiful with super clear water for swimming and kayaking. Loved the puzzles and games that were on site too. Lots of parking and the fish were biting. Close to a park with pickleball/tennis and nearby stores. The host and the housekeeper were very friendly and easy to work with.
Answered all of our questions. We would love to stay there again in a heartbeat.
We had a lovely visit here “off season” and the peaceful neighborhood was just what we were looking for. The home is spacious and well equipped with everything we could need. Highly recommend!
The view was beautiful with crystal clear water and a nice long dock. We loved the kayak and paddle boards The house was spacious and kitchen well stocked. We were thrilled to find a rental with 2 very comfortable king beds. Dave and Sue were very quick to respond to any questions and were very generous in offering a late check out!
Our family had an amazing time at this lovely cottage. The location is convenient to many places. There is plenty of room and the space is so peaceful. It was great to cozy up with a book in the wood paneled fireplace room and admire the lake view. Duck Lake is beautiful. My kids loved playing on the floating pad and SUPs and I loved the kayak. We also appreciated the internet access, which allowed us to enjoy a couple of family movie nights after a day of activities. Thanks so much!
This cottage/home is full of character! The kitchen is well stocked if you love to cook as our family does..the bedrooms are private, quiet and full of cozy bedding and extra blankets, sheets and pillows! We all slept like lions!! A lovely view from all the rooms plus a great deck right offf of the main living space is convenient with a top notch BBQ that we utilized plus a nice outdoor table to eat comfortably with the fabulous view! The neighbors were friendly but quiet and the potted plants snd window boxes that adorned the place made us feel right at home! The beach with firepit and loaded with sporty stuff beach house was awesome!! We kayaked on the beautiful and clear duck lake and just chilled for the week! The 40 steps going down to the beach were well lit and in very good shape but the warning for those not in shape is what goes down must come up!! We had no problem with that! Bikes in the garage were also a bonus .the convenience of Tom’s grocery store was a bonus! Interlochen is an amazing little area with plenty to do, friendly rolls and we lucked out with the weather! We would love to go back next year!! Don’t miss this gem! The host and hostess were very helpful and accessible..Book it!!
There were a few 'hiccups' regarding support services, ie garbage removal before we arrived. Also amenities should include all items like toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, and dishwasher pods.
We loved our stay here! The house was lovely and we really enjoyed the close proximity to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The house is perfectly situated on Duck Lake and we enjoyed taking our kayaks out every day. The house was a nice size if you wanted to bring more people. For our stay, it was just two of us but the house had plenty of room for others as well. We hope to come again and be able to enjoy the dock and the lake in the summer.
An absolutely wonderful Interlochen home with stunning views
My Interlochen high school friends and I returned to the area for our 40th year reunion. This property was perfect. It truly felt like we were coming home. The cottage is well appointed, comfortable and has an absolutely beautiful view from several rooms. Great communication with the owners. Easy check in and check out. The place was very clean. Fall is a lovely time to visit the area because the change of the season and colors were great. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy activities on Duck Lake. Thank you!
We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and beautiful lake views, especially sunrises. However, the inside of the house is very dark, even with lights on, in the evening. The beds were comfy, but we brought our own pillows. Appliances were updated, but furniture was not. We enjoyed touring wineries in the area and had great food everywhere we ate. It’s a beautiful area!
We loved our time at Tucked Inn. It had everything we needed and was a most beautiful property. Mornings on the dock watching the sun come up will be sorely missed. My favorite room was the game room. The epitome of cozy cabin! Spent every night in there making puzzles and hanging out with family. Thank you!
The property was fantastic. Lake and shoreline were beautiful, and the views from the house and deck were top notch. Less than a mile from Interlochen Center for the Arts, the main reason for my family to visit the area, but also proximity to Green Lake, state park on Duck Lake, and short drives for day trips of Cherlevoix, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, all the best of northwesters Michigan, make it an ideal location.
We loved our stay at Duck Lake at this house. It provided everything we needed and the owners were so easy to work with. The house offered plenty of space with too many amenities to mention. If you are looking for the most beautiful lake for swimming, playing, paddle boarding and kayaking this is it. We couldn’t believe it wasn’t more crowded. Property is close to so many things in the area and yet quiet and peaceful. Would rent again in a heartbeat.
We were 2 couples staying at the house for a week 6/19 -6/26 2022 great location on the water fun to go out in the kayak,we golfed ,wineries, downtown traverse city, sleeping bear dunes, easy drives to everything..If you stay here take a walk to Interlochen center for the arts campus ( about a mile from the house) beautiful campus.only complaint would be the picture windows facing the lake needed to cleaned to enjoy the view
Our visit was completely relaxing, and this was definitely aided by being able to sit on the beautiful dock every day. My family thoroughly enjoyed the paddle boards and kayak. The house was lovely and comfortable. My only suggestion might be the addition of a tea kettle and a bread knife. Overall though, we had a great week on Duck Lake!
