About this property

This adorable separate guest house is in a good Central Tucson location near public transit and the 3rd Street biking corridor to UofA. There are restaurants, bars and shops nearby. It's a charming studio w/an all new bathroom, cute kitchen w/lg refrigerator, coffee maker, hotplate and microwave. You'll have covered parking at your doorstep, access to our big backyard with privacy fencing, patio furniture and gas grill, plus laundry facilities with new HE washer and dryer. The floors are tiled and the furnishings are comfortable for one or two people.

Property Review

The pictures in the listing made the space look much bigger. The listing of amenities was accurate. The bathroom, though tiny, had a spacious shower and dependable hot water and toilet. Internet was often spotty. Shared spaces (back yard patio with grill and laundry) were available whenever we needed them. Alot of variance in the surrounding neighborhood, but overall I did not feel comfortable walking alone. Hosts were friendly and helpful with questions.

Nice Casita But Not Pet Friendly Location

Kathy was great and gracious, her small casita clean and the shower large, considering the size of the bathroom. My only issue was the location is directly on a busy boulevard and no sidewalks. I would not recommend bringing your pet (I had a 17 lb Bichon) as her fenced back yard is all concrete or cactus and rough gravel. I had to carry my dog to the corner to walk on streets (still no sidewalks) past sketchy apts and I did not feel safe at night. For a young single person or parents visiting UA friends, this is a great spot and Kathy will do everything in her power to ensure your stay is wonderful.

Great Place

Loved the place. Perfect for a short visit to Tucson. Location was ideal for traveling to the University area. Also only half a mile away from the nearest airport shuttle. Overall enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate stay here again next time I visit Tucson. Owners were very accommodating and flexible with changes to check in times and changes to travel dates.
