Cozy Cabin, Riverfront, Near Mt Rainier Sleeps 2-6

The Osborn cabin is a creek front cabin at the base of Mount Rainier. This beautiful cabin has an amazing rock fireplace, an entertainers deck that over looks the rushing waters of big creek, completely remodeled kitchen with granite counters, breakfast bar, and new stainless appliances. You also get access to a private park that has a swimming lake and eating area. The Osborn cabin is only a ten minute drive to Alder Lake and five mile drive to the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park.

The Osborn cabin has three bedrooms and one bath. On the main floor there are two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each one. On the second floor there is a good sized room with two single beds.

The kitchen is newly remodeled and with have amenities available to make your stay special.

This beautiful, rustic A-frame is clean, comfortable and close to the park entrance at Mt. Rainier. It's very relaxing after a long day of hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there.

We stayed 2 nights with our kids (8 and 10) They loved the loft although the stairs were a little steep and the railing was a little low. Kitchen was efficient (note no dishwasher, we picked up paper plates in town). Super close to entrance of Mount Rainier. Quiet street even with neighbors nearby.

The cabin was clean. There’s a bubbling brook there. Very relaxing. The beds and couch were so comfortable. Six of us stayed there. The kitchen was stocked. The shower had plenty of hot water. Our host was responsive to emails.

What a cute rustic cabin on the river! We enjoyed our time here very much. It was well stocked and clean! The rooms are cute. Be aware you can see directly into the bathroom from outside! Other than that, it was wonderful!

Super convenient location by the park entrance. Loved sitting by the stream and reading. Beds and couch were comfortable. Get warm and hard to sleep on hot days.The interior was cozy and clean but a bit worn in places (a hole in the drywall upstairs, screens missing, holes in the decorative welcome sign, birds making a nest in the ceiling, carpet had a big fold in it). And the light switch situation was so confusing. But if you are wanting a clean, rustic cabin with modern amenities, this a great spot.

We had a great stay. It was the perfect space for our family of 5. The location is fantastic for visiting Mt Rainier. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and communication was easy. We didn’t realize the fire pit wouldn’t be usable but the s’mores maker saved the day!!

Thanksgiving get away

We visited this great cabin for Thanksgiving and were pleased with the set up of the place as well as the little details that made it seem very homey and comfortable. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, to have a great stress free stay.

Great location close to the south entrance of Mount Rainier. Great outdoor space with a wonderful babbling brook running behind it. Kitchen was well equipped - even had a crock pot and electric skillet along with pancake mix and syrup. The most comfortable sectional sofa -- perfect after a long day of hiking. The queen bed was super comfortable too -- and the pillows were a 10 out of 10.

Lovely weekend at cozy cabin.

We fully enjoyed our stay at this lovely place. It’s well appointed and fully equipped for cooking. The location near the park and basic shopping is fantastic. The babbling brook is beautiful, relaxing, and safe for kids to splash in. We’d recommend it to everyone.

The place is a fair bit worn down and ill-constructed. The screens were mostly broken including the sliding door, the carpet had loose folds in many places, the floor slopes badly almost everywhere, some windows were broken, and there was a large dead tree leaning towards the driveway. And there were many more small issues (fridge door not closing, kitchen wastebasket broken, outdated instructions, etc.). The most significant issue was the notable water damage on the interior and exterior walls indicating flood damage. Members of our group experienced symptoms related to mold, causing us to leave after one day. The pictures on the VRBO site seem outdated and seem as if they were taken right after a rebuild (maybe after the flood?). We stay at many VRBOs and others, and this is by far the worst experience we have had.

NP visit for family

I am so grateful for allowing our family to stay at this beautiful cabin. The location was perfect. My 2 boys were ecstatic to be right on the creek and have an outdoor space to eat and play all day. We even saw deer outside just a few houses down every day. The cabin exceeded our expectations and it was a very comfortable place for us to come home to after visiting the National Park all day. Everything we needed to ensure a great stay was present.

Weekend at Rainier

Went for a long weekend at Mt Rainier. Excellent location. Enjoyed the cabin and the wooded location. Saw a dear. Lots of comfortable seating in the living room, which worked great for socializing.. Also able to cook dinner and other meals for a group of five adults.
