LAGUNA KEYES... premier oceanfront North Myrtle Beach condos from Thomas Beach Vacations

THIS POPULAR north-end resort has spacious condominiums and a wonderful aquatic activity amenities package - an oceanfront pool, a kids' pool, an indoor all-weather pool, plus, there's a hot tub, an additional kids' pool, and a fun lazy river ride located on the sixth level (open April through November). If you wish, you can also enjoy a bit of exercise in the resort's second floor fitness center.

LAGUNA KEYES OFFERS condos with one to four bedrooms. You'll love the grand views of the ocean, salt marsh and the Cherry Grove Inlet. Choices include both oceanfront and side/oceanview condos. Motorcycles, trailers, golf carts and overhead vehicle storage units are not permitted. Garage clearance is 6' 8". Please note that Laguna Keyes is non-smoking complex. This includes, but is not limited to: rooms, balconies, decks, hallways and pool areas.

CASUAL IN-HOUSE DINING or sampling the cuisine at the excellent local restaurants and cafes are pleasant options since each condo has a full kitchen. Free WIFI or wired High-Speed Internet is available in all Laguna Keyes condos. This condo is available for off-season monthly rates November 1st to March 1st so you can enjoy an extended seaside winter stay.

LAGUNA KEYES PENTHOUSE #2 is a corner condo with a whirlpool tub in the master bath. The condo has 6 TVs, 3 DVD players, 2 VCRs, CD stereo, ceiling fans, and an oceanfront private balcony. Resort and common unit features include:

More than Expected!

We were pleasantly surprised to see that the property had been freshly painted and was more light and bright than the original listing photos. There was plenty of room and the condo amenities were awesome! Beach access was great. We had a towel bar that was loose and property manager responded right away by sending someone to repair. Absolute pleasure!

Great location!

Our overall stay in this condo was comfortable and relaxing. The beds were great! The check in process was easy and as expected, our condo wasn't ready at normal check in time. In fact it was 2 hours late. We understand the short staff issues so we were not upset. Although, once we did check in, we found the toilet seat very nasty in the master and sandy indoor and outdoor furniture. This was unacceptable since we were patient enough to check in late, waiting for our condo to be cleaned. Also, I left 2 voicemail for maintenance and never got a return call. Fortunately we figured out our issues with getting the power turned on. We never figured out how to get 2 of the TV's working, but we just stopped worrying about it.

Safe for young family - very "lived in"

We have 3 young, active children which can make us nervous when renting. This condo was very well lived in which took that worry away. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The furniture throughout the common areas is in need of attention, such as extremely unstable kitchen chairs and cabinet drawer faces hanging lose and getting caught on each other. The master suite was the best space in the condo! The "queen bedroom" was extremely cramped for my husband and I; climbing over top the bed to the closet was necessary at times. The twin and daybed rooms were perfect for kids to sleep and play. I would strongly suggest asking for extra towels as the dryer struggles to dry a small load of the thin towels provided. Our beach towels never dried and had to hang outside. Would we rent this condo again, probably not. Does your family have young kids that want to play at the beach non-stop? If yes, then this place is a safe bet. But do take note, the ocean side pool is very small, and shaded most of the day (burr). The lazy river is fun, but is on the 6th floor (street sode) away from the beach and other pool, and also sits in the shade until later in ehe afternoon. Not as parent friendly when you have multiple.
