We stayed here for a week for an art class, and were very glad to have such a clean and comfortable space that welcomes dogs. Having in-unit laundry available was much appreciated. The neighborhood was relatively quiet during our stay, and we didn't have any problems at all with street parking. The host was communicative and pleasant, and if we have the opportunity to come back, we would be glad to book this house again. Thanks, Chris!

Destination Tulane

My husband and daughter stayed there for 2 nights and they loved staying there. My husband said the place is beautiful and location is fantastic. They loved walking to the restaurants and to Tulane University. We will be staying there again when we visit her at school.

Great for visiting Tulane

Went to visit my daughter at Tulane. This home was clean, well appointed, and perfect for safely walking to campus and many great places to eat. We hosted her and friends for a game night, and there was plenty of space for a small group. Will stay here again!

Work trip

I had a great stay for a quick trip for work! I was a bit nervous about the location, but it was very quiet and I felt safe. The areas that the property owner, Chris, gave were helpful and yummy! I recommend High Hat Cafe! Great communication with Chris as well!

NOLA Summer 2023

The house is lovely and located on a quiet Uptown street. The location is great with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and an upscale grocery store within walking distance. It is also a short walk to Tulane University or to the streetcar line. The neighborhood is centrally located in New Orleans so you are a short drive to other areas to explore. The house has many amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable and the hosts provided great local tips. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for WFH

We were visiting family for a wedding, and still needed to work. This place is perfect, there's a desk to set up in one of the bedrooms, and there's a comfy sofa too to work from. We traveled with our German Shepherd, and the space was perfect. The yard is fully fenced and she couldn't get out. The location for us was phenomenal, as we were 15 min from everything we did. Will definitely book again!

Property was mostly as described. While everything was tidy, I wouldn’t say it was clean. The bed linens and towels were dingy and did not smell very fresh. I was going to wash clothes, and changed my mind when I saw all of the mold in the washing machine. They ask renters to wash items when checking out, and I believe that is part of the problem.

Great place close to a ton of restaurants

This is a beutiful place just a few minutes walk to all the great restauaants on Freret street. Inside is big and open with marble counters and crown molding that makes the space pop

Lovely home near Tulane

I stayed in this lovely home for 3 nights with my nieces and we all loved it! The home is sparkling clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. It is in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance to cute bars, restaurants and stores and a short hop to Tulane University. I would definitely recommend for your next visit to the Big Easy

Fantastic place!

This was such a great place to stay! The home was beautiful, comfortable, and a well laid out space. There was everything we needed to feel right at home. It's very walkable to Freret to grab breakfast, dinner, or coffee. Street parking is easily accessible. The neighbors were also extremely friendly. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great trip to see son at Tulane

We had a great week in New Orleans. We hadn’t stayed in this area before and you can tell it’s up and coming. Great restaurants are walkable to Freret area. We did need our car daily but didn’t even step foot in the French quarter! Vals restaurant is great for drinks and snacks. The property had everything we needed…lots of essentials and full size washer and dryer. Would stay here again. Thanks Chris!

2 day NOLA visit

Chris and Molly were very responsive host. The location was convenient to small local hot spot cafes and coffee shops near Tulane. We felt safe to walk around during the day. The place is well stocked with all kitchen supplies for cooking and cleaning. Nice modern convenience overall.

I moved down to New Orleans from Chicago to attend college in 2007, and fell in love with the city! I moved back to New Orleans in 2015 and started to work on buying a home. When the opportunity to build a new home in the Freret Corridor became available, I jumped on it! I am very proud of my home, and I reside on the other side of the property with my girlfriend and our Golden Retriever, Gus.

Why they chose this property

I love the developing neighborhood of the Freret Corridor. There are so many restaurants and things to do within walking distance of our home! We love to take Gus on walks along the corridor to get coffee in the morning.

What makes this property unique

This home will give you a calm and relaxing reprieve from the hustle and bustle of NOLA. We pride ourselves on the home's amenities and cleanliness, and we want to make sure our guests enjoy their time here.

The home is conveniently located so you can get anywhere in the city within 10-15 minutes. You can also walk to the streetcar on St. Charles!
