The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom, a single with a pull-out bed and a family shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area with a Log Burner (Pictures pending). Outside is a front lawned garden with outdoor furniture. Set in the heart of the North Yorks Moors National Park, Ghyll Cottage is a lovely holiday destination for any family.

Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.25 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Wheelbarrow access path runs at the back of Ghyll Cottage and provides the middle cottage in the terrace with rear access, which the neighbour uses regularly. Note: Owner may take additional small dog upon request. Note: Access to property is via steps, may not be suitable for people with mobility issues

Located in Rosedale, a beautiful valley of sweeping hillsides and breathtaking views, this lovely little settlement is surrounded by wonderful moorland countryside and offers walks in every direction. The village is home to the remains of a 12th Century Cistercian Priory - a stone pillar, staircase and sundial are all that remain, which gave the town its unusual name. The village is now largely made up of stone-built cottages clustered around the village green. Packed with local amenities such as shops, tearooms, an art gallery, a glass studio and three old country pubs, there is plenty to do without venturing to nearby Hutton-le-Hole, Ryedale and Kirkbymoorside.
