A stunning historic home, typical of the Lot region with its ochre-colored stone and dovecote, situated on a large 2-hectare lot in the small, quiet village of Milhac, just a stone’s throw from the attractions of the Dordogne Valley, Sarlat, and more.
Ideal for a large family (or two families of 4 people)—2 double beds and 4 single beds spread across 4 bedrooms, plus a spare sofa bed. Two bathrooms. Two terraces, a beach umbrella, lounge chairs, and a large yard for your long summer cocktail hours, football games, or badminton matches. The house is exclusively yours, with no neighbors directly across the way.
Essential shopping (bakery, butcher shop, SPAR) in Grolejac (6 km), and a full range of shops in Gourdon (9 km) or Sarlat (18 km).
This house is our childhood family home; you’ll find everything you need—and more! While it hasn’t yet been renovated to modern tastes, everything is clean, functional, and authentic. We hope you’ll have a memorable holiday here!
Explore the Dordogne by bike: 13 km from Domme, 18 km from Sarlat, with all the sites, castles, and gardens of the Dordogne Valley less than a half-hour drive away. The prehistoric caves of Lascaux, Cougnac, Les Merveilles, Pech Merle, and more. The Padirac Chasm and Rocamadour, the “Monkey Forest.” Or Cahors and its vineyards, the Valentré Bridge.
Not to mention the many nearby activities, all within a half-hour drive: Bike rentals / Canoeing and kayaking on the Dordogne / Rock climbing / Hot-air balloon rides / Flying club and skydiving / quad bike tours / Theme parks in Gourdon, Souillac, and Sarlat.
If none of that appeals to you, the house offers a cool retreat in the summer, with terraces perfect for relaxing, well-stocked bookcases, plenty of space, and board games for the kids. Plenty of open space for your pets, walks in Milhac and the surrounding area, the Relinquière and Melve valleys, the Corbeau cliff, and more.
